We stopped here for lunch on the way to Biloxi, and gave their fire grilled oysters a try. They were hugh, cooked to perfection, perfectly seasoned. These were the best that we have had anywhere in the area. They were so good that we decided to stop on the way back a few days later so we could get them... More

I hadn't been here in a while and stopped for an Oyster Po Boy on my cross country trek from California to nearby Pensacola. The Original Oyster House on the Mobile Bay Causeway has the typical Gulf Coast Mardi Grasish fun decor and it was nice to return to the land of beach laid back tacky. This is a relaxed... More

This dish is a specialty here and it did not disappoint me! I was here for lunch and service was a little slow. The Oysters are GREAT! The prices are in line with other Causeway Restaurants. It was my first time for the Fire Grilled Oysters and I can highly recommend them!

An excellent meal. Started with Louisiana Oysters on the half shell. Followed up with massive servings of beautifully fried shrimp, crawfish, fish and crab claws. the sides were all fresh and delicious. A lovely view of the water while eating made it a pleasurable experience all round

I had fried shrimp and fried oysters with cole slaw and red beans & rice. My wife had friend shrimp and stuffed crab with cole slaw and fries. The shrimp and oysters were good as were the cole slaw and red beans & rice. The fries appeared to be undercooked baked Ore-Ida steak fries. They have individual cups of grated... More

Our friends wanted us to try some local flavor so they brought us here. We sat in the bar, our server was Jason. Started with oysters, everyone loved them. My honey had the pecan crusted grouper, coleslaw, and cheesy grits. Absolutely loved it. I had the pick two platter, my choices were the fried and the grilled prawns, I had... More

Been here several times. On my most recent visit, I was a little disappointed. Got oysters on the half shell, then my meal didn't come out until 30 minutes after I finished my oysters, and it was lukewarm. I'm not sure if the food runner for the evening forgot to bring it out, the waitress didn't check on it when... More

We stopped in here on out way to mobile to try the man v food seafood platter, the service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. we would definitely recommend the alligator bites with the spicy Cajun dip - not chewy at all and very moreish!! The restaurant also had a great view of the river

We had our son's wedding rehearsal dinner here and had a private room. A buffet was served per our request, and you can pick 3 or 4 entrees. Their shrimp au gratin is to die for!. I never had cheese grits before, and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Every item that we picked on the buffet was... More
