Great Oysters and View

This place is known for the fire grilled oysters. I went for a dozen and could barely finish them, they were big boys. I also had the fried green tomatoes with remoulade, perfectly done. Will be back here. I was amazed to get a table at the window for a party of one, at a six top. Granted I... read more

This is always our favorite place to eat when visiting Mobile. The food is always great and the service is second to none. Our server Alex was very attentive our cups always stayed full the food was prompt. Alex did a great job. Will difenitly be returning on our next visit. Thanks again for another great experience.

It has a nice fish camp feeling and some great seafood on the menu. It was fun to mix our own seafood cocktail sauce using the ingredients provided on the table (and help from the wait staff). We really enjoyed our meal and and hope to return some day when we get back to Mobile.

We enjoyed a great early dinner here, the fire grilled oysters are scrumptious, so are the grilled shrimp, cole slaw, fried tomatoes, salad bar and let's not forget the key lime pie. We actually took the dessert back to our B&B, the portions are quite large. - Great service, enjoyed chatting with the manager. One of these days we will... More

We visited the Oyster House on a busy Saturday night and worried we might not get in when we saw the parking lot. No worries, we were greeted by a 15-20 minute wait, then decided to dine at the Bar (after strong encouragement from all 3 staff behind the bar, looking for tips?). The beer was cold (though very limited... More

This is my favorite Gulf Coast restaurant. I visit the Mobile area a few times a year and I always stop at the Oyster House. You can eat cheap. You can eat expensive. It's completely up to you. I love the view from the restaurant. GET THE FRIED CRAB CLAWS! I love fried shrimp and so that is generally the... More

John (manager) and Bridget (server) were absolutely amazing at accommodating our large party which included family from Italy. I can't say enough about how wonderful they were to our entire group. We had an amazing view of the sunset and the food was equally as wonderful. Highly recommend!

This is a great place to eat! We went and really enjoyed the amount of food for the price. We had wonderful service and never had an empty glass or wanted for anything.

Been there a million times. Food is consistently good. Fresh always & service is really good. Large groups are always there. Salad bar is really good. One of the best. The whole flounder is great. Always a safe bet for a good experience. I will go back.

We ate here for our farewell dinner while on a group history tour. There were about 30 of us and we had reserved a private room in the back of the restaurant. Glad we had reservations as the restaurant was really packed on a Saturday night with lots of people waiting on tables to free up. The food was really,... More
