Valentine/Anniversary Dinner

The place was packed! It really didn't matter that we sat at the bar to eat our meal! The bartenders gladly took our food orders and kept our drinks flowing! Very friendly! Fire Grilled oysters were awesome!

On the Causeway between Mobile and Spanish Fort. The food was good; was there for a couples lunch. Fast and friendly service. This place went up 10 spots in my book since they rebuilt after Hurricane George in 1998. Get a bay-side window seat and enjoy. Kids can play (with supervision) under the restaurant, which sounds weird, but on hot... More

You must; I mean must have the Oysters! They were the highlight of my trip here in Gulf Shores; worth the drive. I had there smoked ones; price is about what you pay elsewhere; also had the poeboy very good. Will come back again!

We eat here at least once or twice a month and more in the summer months and always have great service and the food is awesome! We finally tried the Flame Grilled Oysters and have now found out what we were missing! Have been back 3 times and can't not get the FGO each time! I would highly recommend the... More

The BEST coleslaw ever! The hushpuppies are wonderful. I love the fact that you can make your own cocktail sauce at the table. The popcorn shrimp are great. The gift shop has the best t-shirts! We go each time that we are near Spanish Fort, Alabama.

You really can't go wrong getting some good old southern seafood. All of our meals were delicious and the staff was excellent. There are a lot of seafood joints on the causeway, but this one ranks right up near the top.

Loved the fried mozzarella - very unique and excellent. Shared that, hushpuppies and fried shrimp with a friend and had plenty. Great service; very friendly. Recommend doing the airboat tour while you're there - Delta Airboat Express.

One of the absolute best servers I have ever encountered. Ken is an amazing waiter. He knows the meaning of customer service and has outgoing personality. You can tell he loves his job and his been at this restaurant for ten years. The food was good and competitively priced for the surrounding restaurants in the vicinity. However the key to... More

We were trying to get into our favorite restaurant and couldn't get in because of the crowd. So we went down the street to the Original Oyster House. Having never eaten there before I would have to say it is average for the area. Nothing special. No reason to go back again.
