We really enjoyed both the food and service at El Ranchero. The menu has many choices and the restaurant is right downtown - excellent location. Don't skip the desserts, which we found to freshly made and delicious! This will definitely be a repeat spot when I travel to Selma.

This was one of the first Mexican restaurants to show up in a smaller town around these parts. I have always had good food and fast, friendly service. The Steak Fajita Quesadilla is always my go to dish!!

I am not from the South and I love Mexican food. This restaurant is a pleasant surprise in a small town, a nice place to eat with decent prices, good service, and the food, although nothing spectacular, is tasty with very filling portions.

I love this place. It's close to where I work so it's very convenient. The food is great and portions are substantial. There aren't a lot of choices in downtown Selma but this is definitely a must try place!

I had tostados and they were great! Salsa was mild at best..tamales were kinda weird because they put some sort of red sauce on it

We thought there would be nothing in downtown Selma on a Monday night. We were wrong. This place had at least 10 tables on the go for the entire time we were there (and we were there for longer than anyone, because they make a mean margarita). Honestly, one table would leave and BAM there would be another family/couple/bunch of... More

found this little place on main street and popped in for a bite at lunch time. I found the menu to be the typical Mexican food found around the south . The prices were reasonable and offered a lunch portion at a cheaper price. The waitress was very nice and our drinks were brought out quickly the food order was... More

Always take black customers to the back room of restaurant to hide them. Bad service & waitresses / waiter run establishment.
