Great service

I had tostados and they were great! Salsa was mild at best..tamales were kinda weird because they put some sort of red sauce on it

Went there with my two young children I am Mexican and I have to say this food was thee nastiest non tasteful food I've ever had at a restaurant. & that's saying a lot considering I make Mexican food at home.Regretted even wasting my money.& I ordered some tamales and they had RAGU sauce on them! I requested a different... More

I love this place. It's close to where I work so it's very convenient. The food is great and portions are substantial. There aren't a lot of choices in downtown Selma but this is definitely a must try place!

We thought there would be nothing in downtown Selma on a Monday night. We were wrong. This place had at least 10 tables on the go for the entire time we were there (and we were there for longer than anyone, because they make a mean margarita). Honestly, one table would leave and BAM there would be another family/couple/bunch of... More

found this little place on main street and popped in for a bite at lunch time. I found the menu to be the typical Mexican food found around the south . The prices were reasonable and offered a lunch portion at a cheaper price. The waitress was very nice and our drinks were brought out quickly the food order was... More

Always take black customers to the back room of restaurant to hide them. Bad service & waitresses / waiter run establishment.

Reasonably priced Mexican restaurant on the main street in Selma. We ate lunch there recently and enjoyed good food and great service. The fajitas are always a favorite and very reasonably priced here.

They are easy to find, however parking may not be so easy. They are located on the right side of Broad Street only two blocks before you get to the Emmund Pettus bridge. You may have to park on a side street. They have a large selection of good food, and delicious complimentary chips and salsa. My favorites are the... More

El Ranchero is located on one of Selma's main streets (Broad St) making it easy to find. The food there is good 95% of the time. The staff are friendly and there is a lot to choose from on the menu. Service is pretty quick, for the most part. Take out is offered if you don't wish to dine in.... More

Most say this is your typical mexican restaurant. But I say it is worse. They have a big selection, but the meat does not taste marinated (chicken, pork or steak) and always ends up dry. Their salsa tastes fresh with fresh cilantro, but the do not use too many ingredients. You could make a mexican meal at home that tastes... More
