Just passing thru

We visited Tally Ho per Trip Advisor recommendations and the restaurant lived up to its TA reputation. We were moving cross country and just stopped in hopes of a decent meal after nothing but fast food and pb&j's on the road. We were seated right away. Service was attentive, friendly and thorough... read more

The food was yummy and the service was great! It is a quiet intimate type setting. The crab claws were so good!

Very disappointed. I read several good reviews, but my steak was severely over cooked, asked Med rare got well done. Asked for twice baked potato, got baked potato. The steak was frozen and thawed in my opinion. Very watery taste, could be cooked all the flavor out of it!!!! Salad good! Makers mark good! I might give it another try... More

A little off the beaten path, but worth the hunt. The beer was ice cold. The service was quick and friendly. The seafood was fresh and cooked very well. It was smokey inside, but it didn't bother me. The Tally Ho is a great local watering hole with an above-average menu and service. I look forward to returning!

We were afraid that fast food was our only option until we found this restaurant. So very happy! The food was delicious - grouper and ribeye meals, and the price was reasonable. Serving sizes were ample. This is an older building with various material on the interior such as brick, Ponderosa Pine and stucco. Very interesting. Table clothes, candles and... More

As with the rest of Selma, Tally ho also has an interesting history dating back to the early 19 century. A quaint little local staple, the food will warm the senses and the staff will make you feel nice and comfortable. A friendly young owner-couple, keeps the tradition alive in the old Tally ho house.

Great crab claws and the St. George entree was great. Thanks for such great customer service. The mix drinks were good also. What i disliked was the lights were to low inside the place. It's romantic inside but i still like to see what eating.

As Selma residents we always try to support local businesses. Unfortunately tonight we were neglected for 40 minutes. They seated us and did not return to our table. We watched another table in the room order, eat appetizers, and get their entrees. We left frustrated and are headed to Montgomery now.
