The burgers are good

The burgers are good and bigger than expected. I ordered a small burger and it actually was kinda big. Food comes fresh, the fries are just not salty enough. Would I come again? yes

Food was delicious and portions were huge. I had the catfish which was fried to perfection and not oily at all. The atmosphere is comfortable and its as if everyone knows everyone. Not a pork eater but my friends enjoyed the ribs (and there were a lot of the as well. This place would be a five if they upgraded... More

We recently visited Selma and going to Lannie's was on our bucket list of places to visit. The food was incredible and the hospitality most inviting. If you want some excellent BBQ with a serving of Southern hospitality, pay a visit to Lannie's.

On a road trip to a family wedding, we figured out that by the time we reached our stop-over in Montgomery AL it would be so late that most places might be closed. So, we decided to try for a good place to eat in Selma. Consulting various internet sites (including Tripadvisor), we turned up several possibilities. One was Lannie's... More

My husband and I went here for lunch, because it's right in the neighborhood we just relocated to, and I went here wanting a bbq pull pork sandwich. There was no to go menus and the menu on the wall did not specify what kind of bbq they're selling- it just said bbq sandwich. I asked the man what kinda... More

Stopped in here for lunch during our visit to Selma. Had spotted the Medical Center location during a previous visit two weeks earlier. Popular with locals. Service was friendly and fast. Spouse and I shared the pulled pork dinner with two sides (French fries and fried okra). Pork was good, but a bit too fatty. Came already sauced and my... More

I was in Selma for the 50th anniversary of "Bloody Sunday." After the President's speech, my friend from Selma suggested we go to Lannie's for dinner. I think everyone else who had been downtown for the event was there. It was a very long line, but waiting was well worth it -- both in terms of quality of food and... More

Food was amazing! The service was very slow. Next time I'll get it to go. I had the pulled pork, stew and baked beans. My friend had the corn nuggets, spare ribs and stew.

If you don't like vinegar tasting BBQ, don't eat here. I liked it, but others in my group didn't. Several great side choices liked fried corn and fried green tomatoes. They have two locations we were told. The ribs I had were super tender.
