Tonight the specialty was prime rib. My husband loves prime rib but he was very disappointed. The prime rib was cooked medium but it was tough, had to chew and chew in order to swallow so he finally just gave up and left half of it on his plate. My pork chop was greasy and also very tough. Tomato pie... More
we read the reviews & decided to give it a try. we had the buffet & the fried chicken was very good. I had the salad bar. yes, it's bagged lettuce but a lot choices. If I lived here would I return, yes.
My wife and I visited for the first time since some friends recommended this restaurant. I ordered the chicken stir fry and it was okay, but a bit greasy. We went to this restaurant because they are famous for their tomato pie. Ours was not good. It was cooked so hard that we had to cut with a knife and it was not edible. On the buffet the fried green tomatoes were very good along with the fried chicken Everything else was fair and very little of the rest... More
Salad bar...like a previous reviewer stated: Bagged shredded lettuce or spring mix, frozen carrots, bottled salad dressings and bac-0s. They need to know what a prime rib is. Spent a wonderful evening with stomach issues after eating here. Not worth the money, eat somewhere else.
Staff was amazing Chance was our waitress and she is very friendly and helpful. Fried Green Tomatoes, Chicken Finger sauce, Kabbob, BBQ that really is so good you don't need sauce, and the Carlile Burger are things you need to try. Even the buffet is good.I will continue to go back there with my friends anytime we are in Scottsboro.... More

We ordered off the menu since the fried buffet was overlooked. Hamburger was ok. Never had potato soup (no frsh) with celery in it of tomato pie made with canned tomatoes. Even the salad bar sucked. Shredded bag lettuce or old spring mix, unrecognizable mixed salads. The best thing I had was saltine crackers. Which I'll be eating to settle... More
