Eleven mothers/teen daughters ate here after our shopping trip to Unclaimed Baggage. Every single person in our group loved their meal. Wow...that never happens. I high recommend the sweet potato waffle fries with the carmel dip. You will think you died and went to heaven....lol. The manager served us....and was very gracious in giving us multiple tickets. We need this... More

Drove down from Chattanooga Sunday with 3 friends in my car club just to eat here...no other reason...drive over an hour just for lunch!!! I had the T-Bone steak with a salad, large one too, and green bean casserole. The steak had a wonderful flavor to it and it was large...all this for $12.99!!! I usually don't eat desert but... More

My wife and I stopped in before getting on the road to come home. We had lunch and it was pretty good. My brisket was tender, but did not have much flavor. It was also served with toast which I found odd. I also had the potato salad and the baked beans, both were pretty good. My wife had the... More

My and I are staying in Guntersville so we wanted to visit the surrounding cities. A nice gentleman we met at the RV park told us to try 50 Taters. I'm so glad we did! We ordered the Cuban sandwich and a large pork loaded potato to share. The sandwich was delicious and full of meat. Our potato was also... More

Ribs/steak combo was awesome. Baked potato was huge and had the perfect amount of toppings. Service was excellent. Asst. Manager visited tables to be sure everything was ok. My friend ordered a T-bone and I had a small steak with the ribs. The waitress asked us to cut into the steaks to make sure they were cooked to our liking.... More

My boyfriend and I ate there on our way through Scottsboro. The food didn't seem very fresh. The service wasn't great. They brought his food out about 5 minutes before mine so that was weird. My hamburger steak was really good though. It wasn't dried out like it is when I order it at most places.

This is a very average place. It's good, but nothing spectacular. I would suggest cutting back on the serving sizes because most people can never finish.

I was astonished at the size of the portions--they were immense. I was very pleased with the brisket. My wife had one of their overly large potatoes and was equally pleased with the quality and presentation of the food. The service staff was friendly and proficient in their tasks. When we have occasion to pass through Scottsboro we will make... More
