Delicious southern comfort food! The chicken casserole, meatloaf, and the fried chicken are amazing. We also love their sweet tea. Our waitress was raving about the vinegar pie and actually brought us a complimentary piece. It is yummy! My husband really loves their butter pecan cake; it is quite... read more

I was told about this place by a cashier who told me about it when I asked for something different besides burgers, chicken and fried food. It was so good and the ambiance was warm, welcoming and historic

The house that this restaurant is in dates back to 1890. It's a very nicely built home and well preserved. Now the food...it really surprised me on how good this food is. The cost is affordable and great service. The hamburger steak had such a great taste though through while I really enjoyed as well the mashed potatoes and okra.... More

Had lunch from kitchen buffet. Very inexpensive at $7.95 drink included. Don't be scared off by "scruffy" kitchen set up!

Food hot and fresh...! Great service from "Jan"..! This was our first visit and spoke with many of the customers and they all said they have eaten here many times for lots of reasons. Food was the main reason..... All fresh and good just like old southern cooking. Many of the dishes were old family recipes, fried potatoes, okra, battered... More
