We suggest trying our pizza with San Daniele Ham 18 Months aged with the freshness of arugula. You will follow in love! Pasta: is a very important topic for Casanova. We stopped here because one of the folks in our party did not prefer to have any more Chinese food. We were not disappointed at all. They have a good menu with a variety of optons and the food was true Italian. All of us enjoyed our meals. I had pizza and it was outstanding....think crust and left you wanting... More

My husband and I have lived in Shanghai the past 7 years, and this is my favorite place. We are regulars every Saturday for the set lunch special. The new chef creates a different menu every week, so we never are bored. The staff is top notch and we are always treated like royalty. Vast selection of wines and reasonably... More

Despite its reputation, this restaurant was recommended by our concierge. It was a serious disappointment. They tried to upsell us on the wine, the service was poor and one of the entrees in our party of four never arrived -- ever! The food was OK, but nothing spectacular. And, the restaurant was over-priced. Stay away until they get their act... More

The TOP choice of Italian dining in Shanghai. Hands down. Had a fabulous lunch experience with my family (for 900RMB + with no alcohol) (Possible Discomfort) I cannot think of much except: a) Expensive soft drink (Sprite 30RMB/can) b) Espresso was top class in Shanghai but more "crema" on top would not hurt. (Comforts) 1) Friendly and accomodating service (the... More

Always high standard service and food. Friendly and really professional in listing to the customer. If you get too often you might get bored for the menu. Truly suggested "cotoletta alla Milanese", I ' m from Milano and it rate it n.1! Free wifi but very slow Quite expensive, even without ordering wine

A group of 10 of us went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the hotel. There is a lot to be positive about here. The restaurant is housed in one of the rare old buildings in Shanghai and so inside has a really warm, old world feel. It is a formal setting and so very suitable for business, friends... More

First time at Casanova last friday night. Very good italian food and professional service ( not always the case in western restaurant in Shanghai). The food is very good, wine list extensive. We went with our children though this place is more fine dining suitable for business and adults. Slightly stiff if you go there with children. There is bar... More

We where there at the lunch time on Saturday. It was quite quiet at that time. You could choose 2-course set (88 RMB) or 3-course set (98 RMB) from lunch menu containing plenty of choices. Bread tasted like freshly baked. All the ingredients were fresh. Food was simple and tasty. Dessert Pannacotta with melba was super good. Service was quick... More
