Description: Welcome to La Crêperie! Our restaurant was born in July 2007 in Shanghai...
Welcome to La Crêperie! Our restaurant was born in July 2007 in Shanghai. Its first aim was to bring the French community some of the most typical food from Brittany; what, as Bretons, we could only consider as a real lack in this huge city where we could already find a large variety of international cuisine… It was also our will to give the Chinese an opportunity to taste our authentic and original recipes.Today, not only the French but also many foreigners and more and more Chinese citizens are becoming regular customers. Coming to La Crêperie is about enjoying our great specialties of course. But we are also very pleased to introduce the Brittany region to the many travelers and dreamers visiting our place. This is why coming to La Crêperie is as if you were escaping from Shanghai for the time of your stay, enjoying our numerous very authentic galettes, crêpes and even fresh oysters from Riec sur Belon (famous in Brittany). You will also have the chance to drink various apple ciders while listening to Brittany traditional music in a friendly atmosphere and nautical decor. After Shanghai, Honk-Kong and Saigon were the other ports where La Crêperie decided to open. You will find there the same concept but you may discover other specialties from our region prepared by our Brittany Chef. So, if you are in Shanghai , Hong-Kong or Saigon, and willing to quit the busy and noisy life of the streets, look for the lighthouse, the symbol of Brittany that we borrowed to show you the way to safety and comfort…Welcome on board,Kenavo!  The Team of La Crêperie

Crepes, Ciders and Oysters

Charming place with great variety of crepes that prepared in open kitchen. They import good quality oysters as well. The ciders that are great to go with your meal. Service is good but they do get very busy on weekends so reservations are a must!

Who would expect a little bit of Brittany in the middle of Shanghai, the largest city in mainland China? Not only were the crepes delicious, tender and light, the menu was approachable, the service easy and friendly. We had the good fortune to meet one of the owner/partners at our first experience at the location in a huge shopping mall... More

For my first time in la Creperie, It was weird to see Chinese making the galettes instead of my GrandMother, and I had doubt that they couldn't make them as good as those of my childhood but they have definitively been well trained to provide good and various kind of galettes and crepes. The staff is super nice, the atmosphere... More

Before I went to La Creperie, I never really experienced anything else then chocolate and jam on my crepes. But once you go to this restaurant you'll be amazed by the variety of taste you can have out of your crepes. Being a beef lover, I went for L'Americaine which was great! Original concept, easy-going atmosphere and friendly staff!

This was my first time at the Jing'an location and I was thoroughly impressed! The crepes were delicious (La Roscoff in particular), the service was helpful and very friendly, and it made for a great start to an evening out with friends. If you are looking for crepes in Shanghai, definitely it check out!

Dining at this place has been an very good moment. Cider , pancakes, desserts are all on top !! I've been there several times and it has always been delicious. But if i can give you an advise, take the crepe Concarnivore, a bottle of sweet Cider and an Ambassador Crepe as dessert. You will definitely love this place. I... More

As a French guy from Brittany, it’s a natural move to try « La creperie » even if as a foodie it is difficult to criticize the food from your childhood. Situated in the beautiful and shiny « Réel Mall », the restaurant has its own style which is really close to the breton’s. Wood everywhere, blue and white colors... More

There are just a few places to eat crepes in Shanghai and this is by far the best one. There is a wide selection of options of both sweet and savory and so far all i´ve tried were delicious. Staff is always nice, the atmosphere is great and prices are reasonable. Totally recommended!
