Fresh and delicious

Buns are baked fresh and they have hot coffee too. I'm pretty sure it's related to the Diamond Jamboree Shopping Center in Irvine, California. Must be a chain. Anyway, very good pastries, desserts, milk tea, etc.

This is another popular chain of bakeries (beleive they are from Taiwan) that is dotted around Shanghai. Must tries include the red bean bun and the sugared donut. Prices are relatively low and their coffees start from 8 rmb, as compared to almost triple for Starbucks.

85 degrees has a great selection of teas of both black and green varieties. Add to that boba options, creams, or fruit drinks, and you can find almost anything you'd want. The pastries and breads, however, don't necessarily comport to an American's taste. The locals, though, seem to love everything on the shelves.

This bakery is as good as a French bakery. It is located walking distance from Marriott City Centre Hotel. we love eating FRESHLY made pastries from this bakery with a Starbuck coffee was the perfect breakfast. Don't order the "meishi cafe" (american style coffee)... it is absolutely disgusting! But the bread is to die for! Had it everyday for breakfast.

This popular bakery chain offers a good selection of drinks, cakes and fresh pastries. I like to order the milk tea (6 RMB) to accompany their breads. The red bean donut holes are nice. Located near a lot of the main metro stations and is usually pretty busy. Every time I pass by this bakery chain, I can't resist :)
