love how they assign a server dedicated to only 2 tables so you get their undivided attention. the beef slices are the best of the sliced meats. the pissing beef balls are fantastic, provided you do not bite into it and scald yourself or squirt onto your friends. these are the must order when at Hai Di Lao. The entertainment... More

We have been taken there by our Chinese teacher. It's great. It's always full of people and the waitresses don't speak much English, however, if you are not too many people, you can wait. It won't take too long and you are served free fruits and delicious popcorn. You can choose the food on a tablet and the prices are... More

If you are visiting Shanghai for the first time, it is a must try. You must book a table, and go with a Chinese friend or colleague. They don't speak English and, honestly, I have been to this place 10 times but have never seen a menu in English. But... if you make an effort to find a Chinese companion,... More

It's amazing that they take a good care of the customers. They always offer help. It's a great place to have hot pot. There's a variety of meat, vegetables, mushrooms & noodles. Many sauces to choose as well as fruits for dessert. Women can get a manicure for free there after eating. We're always in love with tomato hot pot.... More

Haidilao is perpetually difficult to get a seat at, despite their numerous branches and huge venues. No matter if it's 5pm or 4am. But it only takes one visit to understand why it's so popular... while you're waiting for a seat you're served drinks and snacks, there's ladies who can give you a manicure, and servers are on hand to... A fantastic restaurant! Best service ever and you have to order noodles just to see the noodle show! Food is excellent and if you like spicy hotpot it's the place to come. Highly recommend it!
