I dined in here twice, during the summer and winter. Their service staffs are so good and helpful, recommending foods. I had their lunch set, very reasonable price. For more info and pictures. Visit http://alwaysmissmandy.blogspot.com/2014/02/winter-shanghai.html

First time dine in at here with my wife.Make reservation via hotel conciege. We have been put in a table with fabulous bund view. I had a lychee cocktail which is very nice. The food was excellent. You must try their Dancing White Prawn. It was fantastic cook with mayo. The Manager and service was great and very friendly. We... More

I came here on 7/12/14 for dinner, I had the pork belly, the tuna and the tiger fish. The pork belly was amazing and so was the tuna, the tiger fish was average, considering I had better for 40% of the price. Pros - great food - acceptable prices - great ambience (great for dates) Cons - I asked waiter... More

This restaurant has good food. The prices are terribly high but as it is affiliated with the Peace Hotel it is to be expected. The interior is nicely presented. The building itself is also very unique. I would not recommend this for family visits but rather friends or a date.

Wandered into Shook for a drink after turning up to early to Mr&Mrs Bund, had a very tasty long island iced tea on the rooftop bar and when quizzing the waiter about what time Mr&Mrs Bund opened he suggested the restaurant downstairs and kindly booked the table for us, the service was exemplary and the choice of wine for my... For our last evening together in Shanghai we chose to have cocktails (and eventually dinner) as the evening sky turned from dusk to evening so we could watch the lights of The Bund and Podung twinkle in the night sky. Irving, the assistant manager made the evening even nicer with his attentive service and helpfulness. My rating of 5 is... More

The good thing about the restaurant is the very nice menu with a good food and wine selection. The food is good. No disappointments! If you book ask a table near the window for a great view of the Bund. So all good although the bill can be higher than expected, but thats normal for this kind of restaurants in... More

The view at the top is one of the best in Shanghai surrounded by the historical buildings of The Bund and looking over at the skyline of Pudong. The mixed drinks are very weak and not worth it. Stick with a glass of wine. The menu offers a good variety of seafood. I ordered the salmon for dinner and it... More

My Dad, boyfriend, and I tried the Shook! Monday-Saturday brunch special of 98RMB for a three course meal. All appetizers (scallop for me) were excellent albeit a bit small. My Dad and boyfriend each had the brioche bread french toast and swore it was the best in their lives! I was very jealous. The service was very nice and the... More

Went for lunch, and chose a set menu. The salmon tartar was really good, and the portion was nice and big for a starter. The grilled sea bass was boring and tasteless. Both my lunch date and I used a large portion of salt and pepper to spice it up. The service was nice and friendly, but the best part... More
