Dumpligs and soup

I was looking for a place near People square after the 21:00. Huanghe Road is an animated street also at this time. Yang's has a nice window on the street, you can see the kitchen and some tables. Order and pay at the entrance. You receive a ticket and a number. You can order several kind of... read more

If you like dumplings, Yang's is a must try! I love their take on a classic; they allow the dumps to fry and crisp slightly on one side. Fantastic flavors and overall just a delicious dumpling.

These treasures are the heavier version of XLB soup dumplings. Arguably - these are more delicious than their lighter cousins

We ordered a box of four fried dumplings for take away and it's just ¥8. The dumplings were freshly made and looked quite good. But I think it's too oily and hard/crispy. You can still have a try as it's so cheap and the soup inside was quite good but I won't recommend you to search for it on purpose... More

The fried dumplings are delicious. Do remember to bite a small hole off the side of the dumplings and suck out the juice first. You can get a plate of 6 dumplings for 35 yuan. Will be thrice the price if you get it from where I come from and not as big. The noodles are great as well. I... More

If you go after about 9:30 am we found that there was no crowd and free tables - upstairs if busy. The dumplings make a great breakfast and for 8 yuan for a plate of pork dumplings you can't get cheaper. But no tea is served, only soft drinks, so bring your own. They don't seem to mind. Try the shrimp... More

Those dumplings are really tasty, especially the ones with meat. Quite cheap (8 yuan for 4 dumplings) and good, quick service.

Definitely worth a visit and try! The fried dumplingd were very tasty and juicy. We don't usually like eating meat, but we feel that being in Shanghai it's worth to make an exception for Yang's Dumplings.
