Good mexican food!

I like the background music very much, however th food was not nothing really authentic and service staffs were unprofessional, made wrong order so we have to wait for another long time to receive the food. If you do like Mexican food, Cantina Agave on Changle rd gets an excellence of the food and best Tequila selection.

Never had a bad meal here. Pricey but so is everything good in Shanghai. A little hard to find but we call those hidden gems 😊!

Maya is not only good, but great. Although a bit tricky to find, it has a great atmosphere (it is located above an apartment complex clubhouse). Their Killer Margherita is a perfect blend and they have lots of tequila choices. They have a habanero sauce that is truly spicy. I recommend the jalapeño bean dip for a starter.

Great dinning experience and very good service at Maya. Tacos, burritos...all you want from mexican gastronomy. Value us amazing. 125 RMB will be enough for a brunch and a beer. Duck Quesadillas are awesome!!

Based on recommendation tried Maya & cuisine is not just regular TexMex but includes original style choices. Liked tacos and excellent lamb fajitas that took time but was worth the wait. Happy hour between 5-7 pm.

Atmosphere is over the top eloquent for Tex-mex. Food is well prepared, plating is well done. The flavor is extremely close to authentic. Place is great especially for a Sunday brunch. My only problem is, and what I'm finding in most shanghai restaurants, it should not cost this much a tex-mex meal. Price aside what maya is, and what leaves... More

Having lived here for over a year (moved from Manhattan), we often craved good Mexican cuisine. We had a business/social dinner party here, and absolutely loved it. Complex mole sauce was a big hit, interesting appetizers, good wine selection. Highly recommended.

I am from California and I have critical standards on Mexican food. This venue is most definitely "Mexican Fusion". I have not tried any of the lunch or dinner dishes so this review will only stand on my opinion of brunch, the atmosphere and staff. I have been here twice and every dish I have had for brunch has been... More

Maya never fail to disappoint, I have been in Shanghai for 7 years and Maya remains one of my favorite. Whether to bring visitors or a weekend night out, it is the place to be. Impeccable service, great food and delicious cocktails. Come during 5-7pm, you get 1 for 1 Happy Hour. My favorite dishes is Blacked Fish Wanton Taco,... More
