Description: Mr & Mrs Bund – Modern Eatery by Paul Pairet. A modern French eatery. Relaxed chic atmosphere, heritage Bund location.Mr & Mrs Bund is French, in the manner of Chef Paul Pairet: born, traveled, and globally stamped. Contemporary, but not stuffy. Relaxed, without sacrificing an ounce of chic. We serve populist French favorites, through Pairet's looking glass. Service is family-style, recast for a modern table, and the wine list includes 32 wines by the glass. We riff on classics, we dish up comfort cuisine, and we serve it just like you would Sunday night dinner – sharing-style, and with plenty for seconds. It's a straightforward menu that takes simple French classics to start, and then let you add and play. Mash-ups: not just for potatoes and DJs anymore. Hours: Dinner: 5:30pm to 10:30pm (Monday to Sunday); Late Night Supper: 11:00pm to 2:00am (Thursday to Saturday)Accolades: No.43 in 2013 & No. 76 in 2014 by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants & 51-100 list; No.7 in 2013 & No.11 in 2014 by Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants

Located in the middle of the Bund with spectacular views of Pudong one would think that the view would outdo the culinary experience. Not so! Brilliant all round. Starters, salads, soups, mains ( no space for dessert) were fantastic. Yes, it's pricey but when you add the impeccable service one has a superb night out. Well well done!

We had an amazing experience. Everything from the start went beyond expectations. We loved the entrance, the place in general, the view, and mostly the food. The waitres was kind and we had a lovely time.

We have been to this restaurant about 10 times, and it is clear that the quality is very consistent!!! The reason for not giving 5-star ratingbis mainly: - Have tried to book non-smoking, but then get smoking table (or the choice to get non-smoking and then need to leave the table after maximum 2 hours - not OK with such... We attempted to book for our real target, Ultraviolet but because of the public holidays it was sadly closed and decided to try this less formal restaurant. The interior is spacious and tables have ample room so that despite the size of the restaurant it felt rather private in the lovely corner table by the window. The service is professional... More

A (very) high end bistrot on the Bund. Tried the menus and were very satisfied (only issue was the slightly undercooked giant shrimp). Very attentive service and great views on the Bund. Price around 70 euro (without wine)

We were fortunate enough to get reservations to this modern French restaurant on the Bund. It was the National holiday with ridiculous pedestrian traffic control which took us 40 minutes for a normal 10 minute walk passing a sea of humanity and traffic. Romeo was our server, and he was excellent and patient helping members of our group navigate an... More

My wife and I had dinner here on a Monday evening in October yet the place was crowded. Make sure to request a table by the window, the view is amazing. I loved the modern Atmosphere Pac Man Video Console, Baby Foot table yet expensive chandelier and bottles of wine reaching as high as 12.000 Euros. Menu selections is wide... More

We just returned from an expensive dinner here. We found virtually nothing to justify all the "awards" posted on the wall! The service was ragged at best! We had to ask each time to have our water glasses filled. The waiter screwed up the sequencing of courses, so that two of us got our second course on schedule. The other... More
