Mr & Mrs Bund – Modern Eatery by Paul Pairet. A modern French eatery. Relaxed chic atmosphere, heritage Bund location.Mr & Mrs Bund is French, in the manner of Chef Paul Pairet: born, traveled, and globally stamped. Contemporary, but not stuffy. Relaxed, without sacrificing an ounce of chic. We serve populist French favorites, through Pairet's looking glass. Service is family-style, recast for a modern table, and the wine list includes 32 wines by the glass. We riff on classics, we dish up comfort cuisine, and we serve it just like you would Sunday night dinner – sharing-style, and with plenty for seconds. It's a straightforward menu that takes simple French classics to start, and then let you add and play. Mash-ups: not just for potatoes and DJs anymore. Hours: Dinner: 5:30pm to 10:30pm (Monday to Sunday); Late Night Supper: 11:00pm to 2:00am (Thursday to Saturday)Accolades: No.43 in 2013 & No. 76 in 2014 by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants & 51-100 list; No.7 in 2013 & No.11 in 2014 by Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants

parisian style, amazing views

Fantastic space with amazing views. French style with an edge. We waited for a table with a view so ate a bit late but definitely had the best seat. Food was beautiful. will definitely return

I used to go every few months to Mr & Mrs Bund before it has be renovated. I was very excited to go back last week. Unfortunately (almost) everything went wrong from the begining to the end. Even after calling me twice to confirm my reservation (the second times 2 minutes before the reservation time), they were not able to... More

You have to come here to try their lemon dessert. I won't have called it a tart but just a lemon dessert. My husband who doesn't like lemons gave thumbs up to the dessert. Something unusual and definitely worth the price. I would recommend all lemon tart/dessert lovers to try this!

I have been here a couple of times and have found the experience to be great on both occasions. The food is wonderful. The service attentive without being over the top and the view over to Pudong is absolutey amazing. The meal started with an complimentary fish moose served in a tin can, with wafer thin crispy bread - a... More

I was there yesterday for the Bingo night after a period of renovation and I was very disappointed. First, they called us many time to confirm the booking but when we arrived there was no table available. I find that new decoration does not stand out and it looks very cheap like some Chinese restaurants. Service was very bad, usually... More

Ever wondered where to get good French Food in Shanghai? Check out Mr&Mrs Bund. It is on the Bund (no view unfortunately) and keeps up its reputation with great food, which obviously comes with the according price tag. Great for business dinners with clients or after 23h with friends with their special late night promotion.

See the entire review【http://missneverfull.com/shanghai-mr-mrs-bund-bund-18】with clear pictures and prices. I have been to MMB a lot of times over the years, the food was consistently good. My favorite is 'Black Cod in a bag' which is a nice combination of west and east. 'Long short rib' is also lovely. For the dessert, you shouldn't miss out the ever-popular 'Lemon & Lemon... More

An amazing evening of really well explained food, great atmosphere, and beautiful views. We had the set menu and everything was delicious, the portions are quite large though so hard to finish.

Very fancy restaurant directly on the bund. We were lucky and got a nice view on the bund. But half of the tables are not that lucky. The food was really amazing, the beef bourgeois was delicious, the mashed potatoes a dream. (And by the way, it is one floor under the super fancy "bar rouge"). Also the service was... More

Menu is so easy - I love knowing where everything we eat will be from. Paul Pariets' attention to detail is fantastic. This was our second time. And when Im back in Shanghai i will go again. We chose mainly of Chef Suggestions and what good choices we made.
