Description: Mr & Mrs Bund – Modern Eatery by Paul PairetA modern French eatery. Relaxed chic atmosphere, heritage Bund location.Mr & Mrs Bund is French, in the manner of Chef Paul Pairet: born, traveled, and globally stamped. Contemporary, but not stuffy. Relaxed, without sacrificing an ounce of chic. We serve populist French favorites, through Pairet's looking glass. Service is family-style, recast for a modern table, and the wine list includes 32 wines by the glass. We riff on classics, we dish up comfort cuisine, and we serve it just like you would Sunday night dinner – sharing-style, and with plenty for seconds. It's a straightforward menu that takes simple French classics to start, and then let you add and play. Mash-ups: not just for potatoes and DJs anymore. Hours: Dinner: 5:30pm to 10:30pm (Monday to Sunday); Late Night Supper: 11:00pm to 2:00am (Thursday to Saturday) Accolades: No.95 in The World's Best Restaurants 2012 by Restaurant Magazine UK, No.7 in Asia's Top 20 & No.1 in China by 2011/2012 The Miele Guide.

Food was very ordinary, and , not French. I cannot understand what’s all the hype about this restaurant. The view was good and services were attentive, but not good enough to make up the disappointment form the food.

Situated on the 6th floor of a building in the centre of the Bund, it affords views across the river through the haze to the huge tower and other buildings. The menu is extensive and well structured by category of food with an excellent wine list as well. The tables are cleverly assembled with a serving platform next to each... More

The food being served is very good and with a wide variety, but I would like to highlight the most amazing thing: the space itself. You will find yourself being served in an Open-space room with a distinct looking and appearance. On the exterior terrace, you will find an amazing view over the city of Shanghai. Another good thing if... More

I had been wanting to dine at this spot previously during a trip and never made it, so I was happy when I convinced my colleage to dine here during a work trip. We were there over a weekend and it was perfect for a Saturday night dinner. First of all, this building apparently has a nightclub in it, so... More

This restaurant is more famous than good. Food is okay, but not incredible. They could do more with this place. The location is great, but decoration is tacky, drinks adn wines are the most expensive I've ever seen in Shanghai, ambience is not good, kind of heavy. If you are visiting Shanghai and want to have a meal with a... More

One of the first restaurants I visited when I arrived in Shanghai. The journey there was already exciting as its in the historic Bund district. The view from the restaurant is amazing over looking the futuristic Pudong District across the river, enough to wow any visitor to Shanghai. The restaurant lives up to its strong reputation as one of the... More

On a good day my husband gets to have prosciutto. Living in California he rarely gets to have foie gras. Clearly, shaved black truffle is a thing to be treasured. To have all three, so artfully prepared in such a fun, vibrant, and scenic restaurant is a very special thing. I highly recommend Mr and Mrs Bund- the service was... More

I have been to eat, the food is really superb, the service is good less the area for the drinks that is quite limited. What is really nice is to have your dinner on the outside terrace, the view is amazing on the Shanghai skyline and the Bund. I strongly suggest to go one time It's really e nice experence... More

Let's start with the very good positives. Food is 4.5/5 ie out of the many dishes we had two side ones weren't that great. The service was very good and helpful and pleasant. So far really great. Now to atmosphere. The place has two main sitting area. The room with the view near the window is fantastic. Great views of... More
