Description: Mr & Mrs Bund – Modern Eatery by Paul PairetA modern French eatery. Relaxed chic atmosphere, heritage Bund location.Mr & Mrs Bund is French, in the manner of Chef Paul Pairet: born, traveled, and globally stamped. Contemporary, but not stuffy. Relaxed, without sacrificing an ounce of chic. We serve populist French favorites, through Pairet's looking glass. Service is family-style, recast for a modern table, and the wine list includes 32 wines by the glass. We riff on classics, we dish up comfort cuisine, and we serve it just like you would Sunday night dinner – sharing-style, and with plenty for seconds. It's a straightforward menu that takes simple French classics to start, and then let you add and play. Mash-ups: not just for potatoes and DJs anymore. Hours: Dinner: 5:30pm to 10:30pm (Monday to Sunday); Late Night Supper: 11:00pm to 2:00am (Thursday to Saturday) Accolades: No.95 in The World's Best Restaurants 2012 by Restaurant Magazine UK, No.7 in Asia's Top 20 & No.1 in China by 2011/2012 The Miele Guide.

creative, delightful food with super service. Be ready, it is very expensive. But amazing! save up! eat at food courts for weeks, do whatever you need to do but go here. Make a reservation, tho, as it is always booked. favorite

I find this restaurant to be one of the must visit places in Shanghai. Location is amazing right on the bund, overlooking the Pearl Tower of Pudong, the decor of the place is modern, cool and fresh. The service is good and menu is very extensive, and the food is really good too. Quite of a bar scene and happening... More

The service of this restaurant is really one of the best in Shanghai, considering customer service is mostly non-existent in China. Of course, the food is the best part of this restaurant. Half-way through our meal we decided to take a break and hang out at the deck. The gorgeous view of the bund is definitely another attraction. The dishes... More

been traveling to China for several years on business and, hands down, this is the best meal and coolest ambiance I've experienced ( must go on rooftop balcony after dark and behold the river view - spellbinding! ) Exceptional décor, cocktails, service, and of course, food. Great for decision-maker level business dinner or romance.

This restaurant deserves every single award that they had won to-date. What make them different is their attitude. Is about their attitude to exceed customer expectation. The excellent food quality, decor, ambient came through vividly. However, is the well trained, personable and gentle service team that help pull all the pieces together to deliver that very memorable dinning experience. Their... More

I decided to stick with the Chinese dishes this time and OMG they were one of the best dishes I ever had in Shanghai. I started with the picnic chicken and it was one of the best tender well prepared chicken I ever had. The black cod soy just melted in your mouth. Drinks were creative and flavorful also.

Wow, no words to describe the exceptional service by our waiter named Seven. Also an exceptional maitre'D, who made sure to offer us a lovely window table with a magnificent view of the Bundt. Although all tables are good I would when booking request a table with a view With a magical view and excellent service and the best food... More

This is a really fancy restaurant, but also very relaxed. Come as you are! No one's going to judge you for the way you dress or whatever. The waiters wore white shirts, often not tucked in to blue jeans. Everyone was really friendly and I even got a small chair especially for my bag. =) They have staff in the... More

Mr & Mrs Bund is a must-visit in Shanghai. Stunning views of the water and perfectly situated in the middle of the Bund. The only drawback is that it can get very crowded because it's very trendy, so the staff can seem a bit "put off" when you ask how soon a table will open up. But it's worth the... More
