Visiting Shanghai for 2 days and I found this joint on tripadvisor. The review are accurate, great dumplings, very cheap. There was a long line Sunday afternoon as a testament to its popularity and it moved quickly. I asked the Concierge at the hotel and they immediately confirmed its popularity. I had the pork and shrimp dumplings and will seek... More

The shrimp dumplings and yangs dumplings simply delicious. One of the best things we ate in china in 14 days. Extremely cheap. We found it easily by the crowd outside. We were offered a seat inside by a friendly waitress. She quickly recognized thatwe were struggling eating them with chopsticks as they were so large and without asking brought us... More

Loved these dumplings. Its a very simple shop, there is an English menu if you need it - just point to the dish you want. I had dumplings three times on my visit to Shanghai, they are great. Make sure you get a spoon to catch the juices from inside the dumplings. I only tried the dumplings, the prawn dumplings... More

Great soup dumplings - join the queue outside on the right, pay and collect your steaming dumplings on the left. Tasty hot morsels - watch out for the soup that squirts out! a real taste of authentic Shanghai

These wonderful dumplings have been popular for many years, with locals and tourists. It is a must if visiting. Extremely cheap and very filling.....served straight from the pan so they can be hot, and full of delicious juice....the first bite sprays most newcomers.

It's very authentic and has a very reasonable price. Though there's always a long line, it's worth the wait.

This time, I would like to share my experience eating fried dumplings at the famous Yang's Fry-Dumpling 10 days ago. Before this visit, I had tried eating this fried dumpling in one of their branch locations (Jing An Temple) few days before and I love it so so so much. That's why, I determined to find their branch location in... More

Easy tourist location. If the soup dumpling place across the street is too busy, this is a great place. Caution, they are big and very hot dumplings, but worth every second of waiting. And you get to watch them make them by the dozens and dozens. Kids loved just to watch.
