As the name suggest's fry dumplings. however, the dumplings here were soaked in oil. We got out feeling sick in our stomach with the amount of oil in the food. Undoubtedly, a cheap place to eat with a lot of patrons! However, this place didnt do the trick for us.

i'm not a big fan of xiao long bao but i love shen jian baos and these are amazing. I have one near my house and I go there all the time. The shrimp dumplings are good too but I can't vouch for anything else since I haven't even it. Its fried and has a lot of soup so if... More

Although we were not entirely clear how to order at first, we concluded the long line outside the tiny restaurant must be indicative of good food, so we gave it a shot. We could not be happier that we did. It was pretty easy to figure out how to order, and the dumplings and soup were delicious and incredibly inexpensive.... More

This is a fast-food like chain, famous for its dumplings- for good reason. They offer the soup-dumplings which are fries from one side. These are really good and you can see how they make them! The rest of the menu though is below average. I had a rice-noodle soup which was actually quite bad. But then again, they specialize in... More

Inexpensive, fast food, but are they ever delicious! Order and pay, wait in line to pick them up. Take away. Be SURE to to let the steam out or you will scald your mouth. Once is never enough.

... the only thing that bothers me is that not much more street food style of places can join the high ranks of Yangs's fried dumpling. In the second of mall above the subway station of Line 2 it has for good reason in peak hours a waiting line and is densely packed with patron, co -seating is normal. For... More

These may be my favorite fried dumplings ever. Seeing hundreds of them being cooked in massive woks is pretty amazing and they come up out crispy on outside but full of juice on the inside! Definitely recommend letting the steam out first before biting into dumpling or else you'll burn your mouth. I like the shrimp over the pork but... More

Yang's is a huge chain all over town and well know for their pan fried juicy pork dumplings. They are a unique kind of dumplings that are steamed/pan fried at the same time, resulting in a steamed bun with a nice crispy bottom. The texture and flavor of the buns are just delicious. It's salty, juicy, chewy, and crispy all... More

I've tried their few branches and the quality of the food is consistent. What's more to say about the big and juicy dumpling besides becareful of burning your tongue when you try to suck all the juices from the dumpling. A must-try dumpling. Tips on eating the dumpling after observing the locals : bite the top of the dumpling and... More

Yang's is a chain and there are many of these places scattered throughout Shanghai. I've been to several locations and they're not materially different from one another. The dumplings are unbelievably cheap and delicious. Each dumpling costs the equivalent of about $0.25. The locals line up for them throughout the day. It's not pretty food. The service is practically nonexistent.... More
