Yummy good value Portuguese egg tarts (only Y4.50) on special. All the cakes looked good too and I bought the special Year of the Horse panna cotta with a horse dish - nice souvenir to take home!

Available practically anywhere in the city, this cake shop offers really nice eggtarts and nice everything else. Haven't got the chance to try out the cakes but they were so mouth watering

Famius for their Baked egg tarts, the Portuguese type, in Shanghai. Usually always a line so it's nice and hot! Hits the spot everytime.

Lillians cake has an amazing egg tart. It was not so easy to find the quiosk at HuaiHuai Lu, it is inside a chinese food shop, but you can buy it directly from the window facing the sidewalk. It cost around RMB 4 each. Make sure you buy at least a box of 4:)

The egg tarts are DA BEST! Nevermind that supposedly Kentucky Fried Chicken in China won the blind taste test for egg tarts. Lillian Cakes is DA BEST! (and cheaper than KFC's too). If only the cakes would survive being hand-carried back to the States, I would have.

I am not usually big on sweets. But the Portuguese egg custard tarts at Lillian's are absolutely to die for. I can't think of a better thing that I have ever tasted in my life. They are small and cheap (3.5 RMB) and sold at little storefronts right on the sidewalk. In other words, they are so easy to get... More

These are so good right out of the oven and cheap too! Loiter at the little Lillian Cakes kiosk in the basement and wait for a hot batch at the Raffles Mall. If you buy six, you get them in a little box too! But then again, they sell so fast you can pretty much count on some hot ones!... More
