If you love dumplings (Xiao Loong Bao), you need to visit this place. Unlike a lot of dumplings made with thick skin, the dumplings here have very thin skins, and are loaded with juices inside. The pork dumplings are fantastic - I highly recommend them. They also offer a nice variety of vegetables, side dishes, noodles, soups and fried rice.... More

If you are looking for delicious dumplings in Shanghai don't miss visiting Din Tai Fung. Even though it is a chain their pork dumplings are some of the best I have ever tasted. You can even watch the chefs make them from scratch in case you were worried they aren't fresh. In addition don't miss ordering the hot and sour... More

I had lunch at the Xintiandi branch and was extremly impressed by the service (friendlyness, organisation and effiency). It was so busy, with at least 30 people waiting, and handled so well by the staff. And yes, very tasty Xiaolongbao.

We went to Xin Tian Di on our last night to check the place and have our dinner. We didn't find any restaurants to our likings and as we were walking towards the mall, I saw the Din Tai Fung signs from the second floor. So we decided to check this place. When we got there which is already past... More

We had a really hearty meal here. Outstanding Dim sums and Egg friend rice... Everything we ordered was excellent... Quick service. Went there twice in our 3 day stay in Shanghai.

I have lived in Shanghai for 3 months now, and was very disappointed about the food. The price is double compared to any local dim sum place and the flavor was very doll. Can see it's a safe choice for tourists but I will recommend to go somewhere else.

Seriously yummy dumplings here. Huge variety. Excellent service. Wasn't too crowded when we went (lunch time); in fact, nice quite environment. Highly recommended.

I have been there several times and I've never been disappointed. The prok dumplings, the fried rice and the soups are excellent. More expensive than other places but the service and the quality of the food is good. Sometimes, too many people and you have to wait a long time.

These are "safe" dumplings to eat - made in a clean restaurant with quality ingredients. Huge with tourists because the dumpling experience is Westernized. If you don't eat pork, you'll be in trouble with the menu. There are only a few non-pork dumpling options. There isn't even a basic shrimp dumpling - it is shrimp and pork. Go elsewhere if... More

A good place to go with friends new to Asia who are not familiar with eating Dumplings. Can be busy and noisy but that is part of the scene. Customers can also watch the dumplings being made in the kitchen. Always a good choice if not a bit touristy.
