Joined some colleagues for a social night out here on the evening of the F1 Grand Prix in Shanghai - it got very busy! However, the food was OK, usual pub fare of burgers, ribs and so on. The place is very much a sports bar with wide screen TV's showing football, etc. but they managed to serve a decent... More

Slightly price, but nice closed-in grassy area for kids to play in or to relax in outside. Nice in the summertime.

Not been in 2 years. O'Malleys used to be an Irish pub..... NO MORE!! The whole point of an Irish pub is well.. It is Irish! Glass of Guiness in one pour, service terrible. The food is so, so. Nobody speaks English, you cannot run a tab. The beer garden has been ripped out. They had a band that murdered... More

If you are looking for a pub, you can come here. Pubs are not really my thing but they show soccer and other sports that are hard to find on TV here.

Went early on a Saturday. They were setting up for a private party so sat us upstairs in an empty room with 3 tables and a tv, where they ignored us for about 15 minutes. Finally got a Kilkenny - excellent. Menu was eclectic - irish, mexican and indian (samosas), but we decided not to stay.

Went on a Friday night to experience a good Irish Bar , the atmosphere was good , the Guinness was fabulous great quality and taste BUT the Irish music was American country and western and this was disappointing and let the whole feeling down!! I am sure there are some good Irish musicians in all of Shanghai.

This is interesting bar, sports bar, band nights and food. First off, the decor is beautiful with hard wood foolrs and exposed wooden beams. Then there are all of these littlle, almost private rooms that are extremely cozy and great for a date. Also, there are about five different bar areas. A good beer selection. In addition there is a... More

Went here with friends for sandwiches and beer. I had a black and blue burger with fries and a pint of guinness. My friends had burgers also with a local draft and Budweiser. Plenty of sports on TV and other varied foreigners like me.

This place has been cleaned up since my last visit 3+ years ago. Sort of lost the gritty Irish pub feeling as a result. Food OK and beer of course good. Sadly they no longer sell paraphernalia. A tee shirt or jacket showing O'Malley's Shanghai in English and Chinese was always a great take-home gift.
