Invited by a friend for a quick bite after work it was warm enough to sit outside without the patio heaters on. We had some bubbles to start, followed by a further 3 bottles of a decent, good value French red. Sharing the deli platter of Spanish meats and their marinated peppers, the 4 of us went on to order... More

This was my first visit to a great find in the French quarter. A large group of friends visited for an evening meal on a Friday night. Was a bit cold outside but we all huddled around the many outdoor heaters provided. The food and drink were amazing. I ordered lamb chop and my partner ordered cod, both were perfect... More

My second visit to Saleya this year. Both times were worth it. We sat outside on the patio for lunch during a perfect autumn afternoon. Service Casual, but also cordial and attentive. Food Very good. I ordered a set meal including the beef carpaccio for a starter and the salmon for a main. The carpaccio was dressed up with salad... More

Was strolling through the area and dropped into what looked like a lovely restaurant -- and it was, until I was served my lunch: a quiche with a burnt top and an inedible crust. When I was asked by the pleasant server how I was enjoying my lunch, I pointed out the obvious and said I could not eat it.... More

A friend recommend us this place, not the enemy! The place overall speaking and the terrace was nice and quiet, maybe it needs a renew inside, but it was fine. The waitress was a girl from Cuba, attentive and taking care of our table. We read the limited menu, we choose 2 starters and 5 main courses, one for each... More

we went to Saleya for dinner on one Saturday night in July from the very beginning the manager a French young Lady (or at least I think she is the manager) was very rude it was clear she was maybe tired for the hot weather or for the working time but it's not suppose to show to the customer we... Yes, it's located in a nice environment. The outside terrace in the shadow is more than appreciable, the staff is nice, I won't deny that. Unfortunately, the meals that come with it were not as appreciable. It was my second time only ever since I have been in Shanghai (almost 2 years). The first time didn't strike me either and... More

the steak was the only thing worth eating. The salad was swimming in dressing and my partner's dish looked like a boarding school stew. Overpriced and less than average service. Such a pity as it looked cute and I am all up for a reliable delicious bistro to make my regular haunt.

Came for lunch twice during our recent trip to Shanghai. Food was delicious and warmly prepared in fine details. Desserts were also great. Set lunch was value-for-money, providing lots of choices on menu. Restaurant owner was there to supervise and ensure smooth running of the bistro. Felt like dining in European country while inside the restaurant. Would certainly return.
