Dined at Pane e Vino whilst on an overnight stay in Shanghai ....it had been recommended by friends and it certainly did NOT disappoint us. The quality go food is great and the staff very friendly. Will definately eat here again when next in Shanghai.

You have to visit this Si Nan Mansion area and walk about first. There are many dining options. We ate with a friend and the food and service were both very good indeed. The owner chef quite hospitable. Nice wine list. Pizza and salads were excellent and they have real food too. Wine list nice. We ate upstairs. Will go... More

The Intercontinental hotel where we stayed recommended us this restaurant as we were looking for western food after a few days of non stop Chinese dinners. We were not disappointed at all! Very authentic Italian food. We had a pizza to share as first course (thin crust, quality garnish, and actual quite large), I had the veal scallopini and my... More

First the address here is wrong, the building in Mao Ming Nan Lu has been thorn down, the restaurant is now in Sinan Mansions / Sinan Lu/ Fuxing Lu. The restaurant is managed by the owner / chef Antonio and his wife. Try the pasta vongole, it is really as good as you expect it to be in Italy. Everything... More

This is a great place. One of the best pizzas I have ever had - thin and crispy, cheese and truffles. Great. Also, enjoyed a remarkable bistecca a la fiorentina. Good wine selection. Will definitely come back to this place.

At the end of a China tour, we were walking around and by chance found Pane e Vino for lunch. Our selections were prosciutto/tomato on the thinnest imaginable pizza crust and clam linguine with a bottle of Italian red wine. All were very tasty and well made. The wine list was complete and reasonable in price. The decor is elegant... More

Great food, cosy atmosphere and good wine - all is there! I recommend pizza salami and gorgonzola - delicious and also semi - freddo ( a dessert of ice cream and cake)

Make reservation before you go to the restaurant as it is not very big. I prefer sitting on the ground floor as the atmosphere is better. It may be noisy if the place is full. The pizza is excellent. The crust is paper thin and very crispy. I also tried the fettucine. A bit too much oil last night, but... More
