After an amazing river trip down the Navua River the only thing left to do is go home and eat! If you can't go home the next best thing is "Stella's house!" This restaurant was very special find in the Pacific Harbor area. I am a professional "soul food chef" and I was completely blow away by the authenticity and... More

Surprise! New Orleans cooking Fiji Style!! Jambalaya, anyone? Cajun Fish and Chips? You can have a cocktail outside and watch the light turn pink on the palm trees in the evening, grab a fish burger or a steak at the bar while watching sports on the TV - even American football!! Or come for a romantic dinner and listen to... More

Thank you for your review Frans V. Yes, sitting by the lily lake is always very relaxing, and enjoyed even more, whilst eating very good food. When you combine a lovely setting with friendly staff it makes for a very pleasant experience. Yes, certainly, in some instances we are two or three dollars more expensive, but we like to think... Visited Baka three times during our visit to Fiji. Great Food, tried the ribs, pulled pork, and salad. Internet cost is very reasonable and reliable.

It was lovely to note that you visited Baka Blues Cafe` back in October 2013 and that you returned to see us again this month. Your return means a lot to me and it is good to know that you feel that we still have great food. That means we are consistent, which I am very happy with. Our Pulled... More

Sounds like it was worth your taking a walk from the Uprising Beach Resort to Bake Blues Cafe`, Ellen S. Walking to BBC` could either be done by the Queens Highway or on the beach...I wondered which did you choose? I am happy that you thought our food "Yummy" and great. I do have a very great team who prepare... More

Enjoyed a great night at the Baka Blues with friends. The food was fresh and tasted great. The night we were there they had some great entertainment with a few local singers singing some blues. Was very entertaining. Staff were good as well.

I was a little skeptical coming here as the reviews seemed a little too positive to be true. But I have to say I've had my best meal in Fiji here. Much better standard than the usual mediocre choices throughout the country. I had 2 starters: the ribs and the scallops, washed down with a Fiji Gold beer. Total cost... More

Well that is certainly a nice way to spend a couple of hours...ribs, scallops and beer!! I was amused that you were skeptical, but coming from Singapore and all the amazing places to eat there, I can understand why you would be. Saying that you ate the best meal with us, makes me very happy to hear...it means that we... More

Recently (whilst staying at Uprising Resort) went over to Baka Blues Café, Pacific Harbour. A short taxi ride there and back. Three reasons for my visit – had never been here before; wanted to catch up with (and listen to) Waqa (the resident blues vocalist) whom I have known for many years; and to meet Stella, the owner a mutual...
