We ate here several times and the food was always absolutely delicious. So affordable as well, especially compared to what such food would cost back in the States. Had the Chili crab, the black pepper squid, prawns. Yum! Margherita, shaken is also great but kind of pricey at $20 fiji.

What a wonderful review you have posted JJCookie. You have thankfully given me a moment of reprieve from the bad ones. The title of your post noting "Fantastic" is really great for me to read. We try to do our very best when preparing all our food, with our steaks and crab dishes taking centre stage as our signature dishes.... More

Good meals, loved the shepherds pie, nice staff and cold beer. Entertainment each night, shame that Waqa has now departed the restaurant, however the bluesy songs and band do entertain you. Good place for dinner

Thank you for your positive review Anthony. Baka Blues started off to a bad year of two reviews, so you've given us some hope that we might just be doing things right...phew! I am pleased to hear that you had good meals with us and cold beers...that is what we are here for. Yes, I agree that it was too... More

We went here after diving and were starving. It took over 45 mins to get our food. We ordered the mahi mahi Poh and chicken sandwich which were ok but nothing to rave about. I heard thru another person we met the child crab was awesome but couldn't be bothered going back cuz of the wait.

Oh dear, our start to 2015 is not looking too great is it Dikiwi. Not good that you had to wait 45 minutes for your food. Our front of house staff know that if we are busy they are supposed to let our customers know that there will be a wait, so that our customers can decide whether they stay... More

We arrived in Pacific Harbour today and strolled around and decided for lunch we would try the Baka Blues Cafe as they had won a trip advisor award in 2013..... Big mistake, on arrival the place looked clean and well presented but that's where the joy stopped. We were seated and had our orders taken, the place had 3 people... More

Well, this is one hell of a humdinger review to greet my new year, bjc. Let me see now: 1. Big mistake; 2. Lacking in flavor; 3. $100; 4, Couldn't get out quick enough; 5. Eat here at your risk; 6. Worst experience; 7. Lacks soul; 8. Lacks personality from the staff. First of all based on how bad your... More

Live music and good dinners at a reasonable price, always a fun place to go at night when the band is playing. Staff is very friendly and you can get mud crab here that is the best around

I am so pleased you had such a "fun time" here at Baka Blues Cafe`, JChristy. Having come all the way from Canada and to enjoy our band nights and consider that we are a fun place to go is always great to hear as well as finding our prices reasonable. I feel we give value to those that enter... More

After an amazing river trip down the Navua River the only thing left to do is go home and eat! If you can't go home the next best thing is "Stella's house!" This restaurant was very special find in the Pacific Harbor area. I am a professional "soul food chef" and I was completely blow away by the authenticity and... More

Thank you for your review Frans V. Yes, sitting by the lily lake is always very relaxing, and enjoyed even more, whilst eating very good food. It was lovely to note that you visited Baka Blues Cafe` back in October 2013 and that you returned to see us again this month. Your return means a lot to me and it is good to know that you feel that we still have great food. That means we are consistent, which I am very happy with. Our Pulled... More

Sounds like it was worth your taking a walk from the Uprising Beach Resort to Bake Blues Cafe`, Ellen S. Walking to BBC` could either be done by the Queens Highway or on the beach...I wondered which did you choose? I am happy that you thought our food "Yummy" and great. I do have a very great team who prepare... More
