Excellent food and friendly service. Nothing fancy, just great food and plenty of it. Whether you're in the mood for cornbread and greens or a cheeseburger and fries, Jim's has got you covered. Try it just once, and you'll be hooked!

Jim's is a typical small hometown diner, nothing fancy. Good, home-cooked Southern food and great daily specials.

We had breakfast here. The service was friendly. Food was on par with IHOP. Some carbonation line had broken and was making quite a racket... really loud and irritating while trying to conversate and enjoy a meal. Will probably try this place again, but not overly impressed. The scrambled eggs were really good.

I have tried other club sandwiches and chef salads in this area and Jim's by far has the best! Both the Salad and sandwich is served with the same thick slices of ham and turkey as well as fresh crisp bacon and juicy tomatoes. The same delicious sliced cheddar cheese that is served on the club is also on the... More

Jim's has been around for a long time with family management as well as a wait staff that almost knows everyone by name. Traditionally a meat and three but the fried chicken is just delicious. When I asked how they did it, the Manager would not commit but said it did have something to do with buttermilk!! Always a favorite... More

Southern cooking at its best. Don't be misled by its appearance! No frills, but friendly service and comfort food in a casual setting. Tasty meat-and-three at a good price...that's why it's been in business since the 50s!

My family loves coming to Jim's. My children are 9 and 11 and they think the hamburgers are the best in town. My wife and I prefer the hamburger steak. The chocolate pie is homemade and is something you should try at least once. The onion rings are good and deep fried. The staff are always friendly. We especially love... More

Walking into the restaurant you are greeted by creepy amateurish drawings staring down at you with odd expressions on their faces, which you will later realize is shock and disbelief that you chose to eat here. They were painting the walls while customers were eating, which is a nice distraction from their soaked floors since there seemed to be a... More
