We went to las casitas today for dinner and we didn't like it the meat was hard to chew and my shredded meat had some bones that looked like splinters that were 1/2 an inch long nearly choked on them lol!! The server did his job well but not very talkative which is ok with me, iv had better service:),... More

In April of this year, on our way South, we stayed a Wednesday night at a nearby hotel. ( Holiday Inn Express ) The surrounding area is very poorly lit, and if you don't already know the roads, it can be confusing. After a couple wrong turns, we found this restaurant. It came well recommended on Trip Advisor. The entry... More

Decided to stop in at Las Casitas while on the road thanks to TA reviews and we were not disappointed! The salsa was nearly perfect with a nice combination of flavor and just the right amount of heat. We had the mixed fajitas, steak and chicken, and they were very good. Flavorful, tender, and large chunks of meat mixed with... More

I've gone to each and every Mexican restaurant in Prattville...some of them many times. Each has their pros & cons but Las Casitas stands out above the rest. The salsa & the service are the best...and the taste is very consistent. Try to drink your beverage with out one of the guys in a red shirt refilling it before you... More

Not sure why the ratings are so high. During our visit the staff was lethargic. They served us, but I don't think I saw a real smile or any actual enthusiasm. Our server seemed confused. I asked a couple of simple questions and he just shrugged his shoulders and looked more confused. I ordered a "top shelf" margarita and then... More

Without a doubt, one of the best Mexican restaurants i've ever had. I don't know how they make their salsa, and it is home made, but it is the perfect blend of spice...hot enough to enjoy, but not so hot i break out sweating. I could make a meal from their chips and salsa. Entress are very reasonably priced. Dinner... More

went with a group of 4 plus baby. Decor very cute and staff was constantly re-filling our chips/dip and water. We love tex-mex and this was just ok. Disappointed with the rating because that's why we chose this place for mexican food. The veggie fajitas were blah and the spinach added made the taste quite bitter...

Ate there on Saturday night and got in pretty quick. The food was good, but did have to wait awhile for it to come. But they kept us supplied with chips and salsa. The portions were large. I had the chicken chimichanga, it was a lot to eat. Must have been 4 or 5 birthdays going on, because there were... More

Great Mexican food at good price. Arrived on a Friday night and although they were very busy we were immediately seated. Less than one minute we were greeted by waiter asking for our drinks, chips and salsa on the table. Service continued to be fast and friendly through entire meal. Food was served hot and portion sizes are good. Location... More

The menu is diverse, and special requests are easily accommodated. The red sauce is outstanding, the brown sauce is also very good. Vegetables always come out tasting great on their own, not just as plate filler. Very reasonable prices, and attentive service
