Super friendly service and good food

We always stop at a Jim 'N Nicks as we pass through Alabama . Great service, yummy food (kids loved the Mac and Cheese, pimento cheese), the cheese biscuits are so delicious.

Our first visit and we were really impressed. Food was excellent as well as the service. In our trio, we had beef brisket, pulled pork, and salad. We have been staying in the area at Sleep Inn for a few years now and this is the first time we at here. we are sure glad we did and will return.

My family and I stopped at this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon at 2:30. We really did not expect it to be busy but the restaurant was almost full. Our waitress came to our table breathless because she was waiting on so many tables. She mixed up our drinks when she returned. Our food was not the best bar-b-q I... More

Just had lunch which tasted delicious. The piggy tater was great. The only problem was the waiter seemed to have NO interest in serving our table. We waited 10-15 minutes after ordering before ANOTHER staff member brought muffins. Our waiter passed our table numerous times without bringing any while others around us received their second basket. He was VERY interested... More

The food was great! It did take a little long to get it but they were busy. Our server was very nice and was able to help us with finding a laundromat while we were in town. So overall, things were great.

The service was slow and inefficient. We had to ask for the cheese biscuits a few times before we got any. Once we ordered she came back to tell us they were out of potatoes, we had ordered 3 of them, and it would be 45 minutes before they would be ready. This was a Tuesday at 5 pm. The... More

From golf course to table. Family friendly with huge beer selection. The pork, chicken, and beef are all competition tasty. Staff is fast and polite, plenty of choices for kids

The food here is always good. The cheese biscuits are amazing but they were cold this last time. I think they may be a little understaffed which is awkward because it's a restaurant, but the service was slow last time we visited. Also they had the hostess taking drink orders who had no clue what she was doing. Never been... More

We read the reviews and a few of them hit the nail on the head. The brisket and ribs were a bit dry, and neither should be, and the service was bizarre, with 3 different servers and the free muffins arriving half way through eating the food, not at the start... and no water was given. The meats tasted good... More

I eat here routinely when I am traveling for business. Quick, fast service and great food. The only thing I don't like are the rolls.
