Good BBQ near Holiday Inn

This is a really nice BBQ place. My wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn nearby and had dinner here. They serve a great IPA and have a long list of bourbons. The pulled pork is well made and the sides were great. (The beans were super and we wished we had ordered more). The "pig in the... read more

We love everything we have tried so far here! The cheese muffins are to die for! We like the pork, ribs, piggy in the garden salad is delicious, they have great choices for kids menu, the stuffed potato's are huge! It will not disappoint!

If you are traveling I-65 and need a good stopping point, this is the place. The greens are cooked fresh as are all the sides. The bbq is delicious and consistent. Hits the mark every time. There are several Jim and Nick's in Alabama and the panhandle of Florida. You would probably appreciate this restaurant more if you are a... More

We have been hitting this Jim n Nicks for years on our travels to the beach and every single time we stop, it is fantastic! I get the same dish every time and it tastes the same every time. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is always very courteous. The dish takes a minute or two to get... More

This is what I would call a non-descript sports-style pub and unremarkable--been in one you've been in all. It probably had a greater selection of beers than food items on the menu, and the food was just average and overpriced. Not too much to write home about on this one.

We were travelers on our way home from a sunny southern vacation, road weary and hungry. Wow, did this place deliver! The service was excellent, welcoming, friendly and the food was divine! The T-shirts were fun too....had to get one for a friend who's name is Jim and his son is Nick. Thank you!

Patrick, our waiter was terrific. Entertaining & efficient. The classic pulled pork it's what it's all about. As good as it gets. The gravy and the beans were just wonderful. To finish it off, the lemon pie was just fabulous. No wonder this place gets high ratings.

A stop while traveling led us to a recommended restaurant…..one that we are sure to frequent! Food was creative, fresh and served with a smile! We saddled up to the bar since the wait line was out the door on this Friday evening ……all indicated this was a good place to eat. We were not disappointed in the suggestions made... More
