This is a small restaurant in old downtown Prattville. It is served cafeteria style (you wait in line, choose your items and carry them on a tray). The food was very good. Everything was fresh and tasty. Service was warm, friendly and .... with smiles. Folks here seemed to really care. Our entrees were very good, as were the side... More

My husband and I ate here for the first time Friday night. It was just as good as all the reviews say. And the owner and staff are amazing. We both had the talipia and it was the best we have ever tried. Will be back soon.

Went back here after finding them closed on Monday night, so glad we did!! Were greeted as soon as we walked through the door by the super helpful and friendly staff who started giving us samples. We've either dined in or enjoyed take away from Uncle Mick's 2-4 times a month for the past year. I have tried everything on the menu and have yet to find a dish I did not like. Our family favorites are the Tilapia with Lemon Butter Sauce, Chicken and Sausage Piquante, Shrimp a la Creme, and the Chicken Gumbo. Great... More

We stopped in at Uncle Mick's and really enjoyed the food, the hospitality and the restaurant. We were offered samples of so many items, and we settled on gumbo, shrimp a'la creme - yum, and something with alligator and sausage, and a cheesy crab casserole. It was all so tasty, and the 2 people behind the counter wanted us to... More

Uncle Mick's has an awesome atmosphere and they treat you like you were the only customer in the world. We arrived 1 minute before closing and I asked if it was still ok to come in and Uncle Mick said "YOU BETTER"... thats all I needed to know about the place. PS: The food is awesome too.

We went with 4 of us who were staying at the Capitol Hill Marriott. We drove into old town Prattville and found it! The lady and gentleman behind the counter were so friendly and offered us samples of everything. The crab casserole and shrimp dish were so good over rice; 2 choices of rice- white or dirty. The veggies were... More
