My husband ate at Uncle Mick's a year ago and I have been waiting for my turn ever since! The food was not a disappointment! Chicken and sausage gumbo, crabmeat au gratin, corn maque choux, Cajun potato salad - yum! Hot fresh garlic bread and tempting dessert selections round out the meal. There are seafood dishes as well. The food... More

Uncle Micks is a gem! Delicious food and fantastic customer service. We always order several dishes and share. There's nothing better on a cool night in a bowl of crawfish etufee and gumbo from uncle micks!

This was our first visit. My boyfriend is a big fan of cajun food but I am not. However, I really enjoyed this place. The owner comes around and speaks to ever table. The food was delicious. My favorites were the Shrimp ala creme and the corn masque choux. Many reviews recommended the crabmeat au gratin which I did not... More

Great Cajun food in a very informal, yet very friendly, place. Uncle Mick greets customers with a warm hello, then dishes out good food - even offering tastes if you are unsure of your choice. We will definitely be back.

We live locally and I can't believe it took us so long to give Uncle Mick's a try. It is amazing. The only downside to this restaurant is that they don't also serve beer which would taste great with the food. The people here are sooo friendly and treat you like you are there personal guest. I love the atmosphere... More

Yesterday we had a tasty Cajun lunch at Uncle Mick's in Prattville. If you haven't been there, give it a try. Uncle Mick was serving. The food is offered buffet style. He asked if we had been there before. We hadn't, so he gave us some samples of the various dishes. He also split entrees in half-size so you can... More

Can't say enough good things about this place. The food is still the best we've had since moving to the area 5 years ago.

I had the opportunity to visit a small taste of home! Living in another state and raised in louisiana, I rarely find a restaurant that serve good creole food until now! Uncle Mics gives you a cajun environment with great creole cuisine! You get a chance to sample various dishes with authentic flavors. I must say that some items were... More
