The food was outstanding. We decided stopping in and eatting lunch as we were in town for the mardi gras. They give you sample and everything I tasted was amazing. I had the shrimp a la creme and it was fabulous. My daddy's favorite thing was the Cajun potatoes salad. We will be back very soon. My favorite place to... More

I know i have to use at least 100 characters in this review, but I could sum it up in much less. Its outstanding, just go and try it and you will be hooked. The owner had me try several samples of the dishes that they had prepared for lunch and they all rocked. Large portions of exellent food at... More

Have to say I was excited from the beginning, going to a Trip Advisor Number 1 listing for several years. And it is true. What an experience. Staff is friendly and want to please you. Wasn't sure what the sampling meant, but it is truly genuine. Mick wants you to taste things - and it is a great way to... More

First, it is easy to find this place from Interstate 65. There are no twists and turns just a straight shot to downtown Prattville. Just take Exit 179 and head west about 10 minutes, you'll be glad you did. It is counter service with the food on a steam table. Don't be put off by this since the serving trays... More

My family and myself have eaten here twice. Both times we have left full and satisfied. The food is great. Service is Awesome. The owner makes you feel like you in his personal kitchen.

Don't go here if you don't like great food with great service! Mick is magic in the kitchen. If he doesn't fill you up giving you samples, you have your choice of some of the best cajun food this side of the Big Easy!

Been here a few times since I moved back to AL. Not once has the quality of the food or the southern hospitality been disappointing. This is truly an amazing place to visit and will continue to.

We travel between middle Georgia and northwest Alabama fairly often but usually early on Friday and Sunday afternoon. Taking a leisurely drive this Saturday we were rewarded by following TA readers by trying Uncle Mick's. The food is simply superb and is complemented by a warm and friendly atmosphere. It was a treat to listen to him explain tastes to... More

We used google to figure out where to eat. I like cajun food normally and there are a lack of those restaurants around here. We were greeted with a warm welcome and were allowed to taste anything we wanted. We got great food for a great price. There was one small problem and the owner was fast to fix it.... More

After visiting multiple restaurants in Prattville, I have come to the conclusion that Uncle Mick's Cajun is "hands-down" the best. I wouldn't even describe myself as a lover of Cajun food, but this food is so, so good, it's made me a believer. I've been several times and even took very picky out of town guests there for lunch! Even... More

Thank you Ladyhrs for this great review! When I read it, I immediately shared on our Facebook page - I couldn't have marketed ourselves any better! :) We have a fair amount of people who say they don't eat Cajun food because it's too spicy, or too 'weird', then their friends bring them along and they are fans!! This is... More
