Great dinning

Great food! Small facility but the food is worth waiting for a seat or taking it to go. They allow (even encourage)you to taste before you purchase which just makes selecting even harder. We'll worth the visit.

A coworker and I looked up the "best restaurants in Prattville, AL" since we found ourselves there on business. We didn't expect much, but all internet fingers pointed to Uncle Mick's. The friendly staff delight in giving free samples of the largely unknown dishes. Nothing we tasted was less than delicious and the Shrimp à la Crème makes you wish... More

We were driving home from our Florida vacation and wanted to eat somewhere "local" - this place showed up on trip advisor with high ratings so we went for it. It was some of the best tasting food on our entire vacation! It's 10 minutes off of interstate 65 in Prattville.. but definitely worth it! The next time we are... More

Buffet style of so called Cajun cooking looked like canned everything and is literally could find nothing I would eat. The atmosphere was nice but the food was not anything I would want even if it had been free.

This place is the best! Hopped in line and was greeted warmly by he entire staff behind the counter. Since this was our first time here, they let us sample just about everything. I had the shrimp creme and the alligator piquant and both were extraordinary! The pecan pie and the German chocolate cake were delicious as well. I loved... More

My husband and I went on Monday, July 20. Neither of us had been there before since we're new to this area. I just gotta say the food was *awesome* The shrimp creme (can't remember exactly what it's called) was amazing AND it wasn't spicy at all so my husband could eat it. On the other hand, I had alligator... More

Stopped by here for dinner last week. It was a bit more casual than we expected but the price was right and the food was good (although the gumbo could use a bit less salt and a little more sausage/chicken). I like that there were fresh fruit side options. Service was excellent and friendly.

We wanted to go have a look at the old cotton gin plant but needed a place for lunch. Randomly walked into Uncle Mick and what a surprised it turned out to be. We took 12 guys from the golf course directly to Uncle Mick's. Owner let's you sample a dish to decide if you want it. Cajun flavors were authentic, staff is pure southern hospitality. Selections are cafeteria style, fish dishes are fresh. Plenty of selections for kids.

I have been to Uncle Micks several times. Now his menu is pretty much the same very time but his buffet style menu is great. Several Cajun options available. The crawfish étouffée is very good with his dirty rice.

Hi GBarber010, and thanks for taking the time to leave your review! Our Crawfish étouffée is one of our most popular dishes here.
