The service was good as was the food. It was very difficult getting across the parking lot of rocks in a wheelchair. We looked at the menu online before going and it was different then the one at the restaurant. The service and food were very good but I would not go back if I had to use a wheelchair.

It has great food, atmosphere and service. Seafood is fresh and originally prepared. I really think you'll love it. All you have to do is check the crowd and their faces. Reservations are necessary. It's small and quaint. Food was delicious and not overpriced.

We had a party of 8 and were seated in a round table. I love round tables. They're so conducive to conversation. Food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. The parking was a bit challenging but considering the time of year it was to be expected. Positively one of the best restaurants on the eastern shore.

Great food and service. The Grand Hotel should take a lesson here. They are pitiful. The Wash House has nice ambiance, quality service. Excellent food and nice selection. The drinks were a very reasonable pour.

This is a "must go" restaurant if you are in the area. Our family goes every time we visit Point Clear and Fairhope. This time I had the Red Snapper and it was excellent. Several people in my party had the Chateaubriand and said it was the best steak they had ever had. I'm going to try that next time!... More

My husband and I have visited the Wash House several times and this will probably be our last. The restaurant is quaint and the atmosphere is appropriate for intimate dining, but our anniversary dinner was nothing spectacular. I ordered the scallops, which were delicious, but there were a total of 4 and they were average-sized. It was accompanied by 4... More

The core of the restaurant truly was a wash house at one time. It is now rather elegant, with an eclectic menu and excellent food. It was also fairly quiet, which meant one could hear the rest of our party at the table. The prices of entrees are generally in the $20's, so not inexpensive. The filet I had was... More

It was very quiet as we were seated in the back room with a larger group. The atmosphere was very nice with the dimmed lights and small, cozy room. We ordered the shrimp and green tomato appetizer to share and we all thought that was so delicious. We also couldn't get over how good the honey garlic butter was that... More

The minute you step inside you are transported back to a time when kids remained seating during dinner and waiters wore white jackets. It is casual elegance and fine dining all wrapped into one. While there is no dress code, you will see families in their resort finery. There are no bad dishes, the wine list is very respectable and... More
