Great ckaes and great service

The staff is friendly and all cakes are baked fresh. A little more expensive than grocery store bakeries, but worth every penny. I cutom ordered a red velvet cake, it was ready when promised and delicious. They even called afew days later to follow up!

Right when you walk thru the door you realize this is a special place, a happy place, a yummy place. The atmosphere, lighting, displays are wonderful. The selection of freshley baked pastries, cakes (in front of your eyes being made), cookies, remind me of Paris quality. Apparently this is a local 3- store family run business. Keep it that way.... I make a point to stop at Edgar's every time I'm in Birmingham. You can't beat the caramel cake or strawberry cake. I have purchased other types of cupcakes too and I am never disappointed.

My husband and I decided to try out a sandwich. We arrived at 4:26 pm and were told the chef leaves at 3..... No sandwiches. This should be stated on the website.

Breakfast was delicious. Hollandaise sauce and potatoes were outstanding, staff amazing too. We visited the Pelham location and were thrilled to hear they have an online market. Thanks Edgar's Bakery for such delectable dining!
