Very friendly service in the restaurant and the shop. The food was excellent and very flavorful. We were seated and attended to immediately. Our food was brought to us within 15 minutes.

Went there for lunch today. The food was just average. We had six people in our group paying their own check. The waiter presented our bill and told us that he could only accept cash. Some of us only had debit cards. One friend left and went to get cash at a nearby ATM. The waiter pulled out his cell... More

In the mood for breakfast we choose Cracker Barrel of Pelham, Alabama. I had the country ham with gravy and biscuits, grits, baked apples, 3 medium eggs, and hash browns. This comprised the big country breakfast. Far too much to eat, but a delicious collection. The real country ham was superb as were the gravy and biscuits. The service was... More

Everytime we go, which by the way is a LOT (at least 4x per month) the food portions get smaller and smaller and the food gets colder and colder! Cracker Barrel use to be very generous with their food portions so we didn't mind paying their higher prices, but this last time, all I can say is REALLY??? Nearly $10... More

When we went on a Saturday afternoon it was very crowded. The waitress was nice but extremely busy. It seemed like forever until our food came, then some of it was cold. We had to ask for biscuits that were suppose to come with our food and that took some time to get.

The food at this location is inconsistent. The dumplings were doey; the chicken was in strips and not chunks; the brown rice tasted nasty; and the sweet tea had no flavor. I will NEVER eat at this location again.

I ordered pancakes with well done bacon. The pancakes were rubbery and difficult to cut with a fork. The bacon came out undercooked.. My friend's meal was all wrong. He was served some sort of meat plate but when he said he ordered the pancake deal the waitress disagreed with him. She seemed to quickly change her tune and kept... More

Today I ordered Chicken livers and when they came they were almost hard as rocks and not at all tasty. I complained and really wanted to return them and leave but I was with a friend and she wanted to stay because she did not get the livers. So, I reordered catfish and it was just as bad. So thin... Had breakfast here with family. Great food as usual. I had the poached eggs, bacon, hash brown casserole, and biscuits. I ordered the eggs soft and bacon limp. They fixed them exactly as I ordered. The one area we had problems with was their timing. They had half the food out after 10 min but it took about another 15... More

No matter where we are if looking for comfort food and a short stopover while on the road Cracker Barrel is the best choice. We are especially fond of our local resturant location in Pelham, Alabama off I-65 at the 119 exit. We call ahead for a carryout order and the service is always curteous and ACCURATE in filling the... More
