Had a business dinner here. I'm a basic eater and I wasn't crazy about my salmon. However, everyone else in our party loved this place. Service was good. If you like fancy places, give it a shot. Me, not so much.

We decided to give Garfrerick's Cafe a try this afternoon for lunch on a Sunday. At first, it seemed like the atmosphere combined with the beautiful open kitchen was going to impress. Unfortunately, the food and the service fell short of our expectations. We arrived at around 1:20 p.m. with a party of two, and I noticed there were more... More

Had dinner for the second time at this great restaurant last night. Have been coming to Anniston, AL for the past few months on business and saw this restaurant very favorably reviewed in Trip Advisor. This is the second exquisite meal I've had at Garfrerick's Cafe. Last night I ordered Rack of lamb (lamb chops really) that were perfectly cooked,... More

Stopped here for lunch on a Thursday, and found the place pretty busy. After a couple of minutes wait, we were seated. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is modern, open, and artsy. Our food was delicious - from the chicken and dumplings (which was extremely tasty) to the shrimp dish and lunch salad, we all enjoyed... More

We were in Oxford for a family visitation night and decided to eat dinner before we headed back to Georgia. We always try to find a locally owned restaurant rather than a chain one so we took to the internet trying to find a hidden gem. Looking at the reviews on both Trip Advisor and Yelp we settled on Garfrericks... More

So pleased to find a restaurant that used fresh local ingredients while traveling. Great atmosphere, attentive staff and fabulous food. My shrimp dish tasted like the shrimp has just been caught and were a good size. The serving size was perfect for lunch.

My only complaint about this restaurant is it can be a challenge to find – but definitely worth the effort. A friend recommended – am glad we took her suggestion. Delicious food – very attentive service – nice atmosphere. Actually kind of surprised to find something like this in the Oxford/Anniston area. Lunch was served with freshly baked bread and... More

The last time we were there I just asked for them to surprise me as there was nothing on the menu that would disappoint. I have had many meals, including lunch, and they are all fantastic. My teenage daughter ordered a soup that she was a little concerned about based on the description but loved it when she tasted it.... More
