'Q near the beach

Moe's is a casual, friendly place for a bite of great barbeque. The hand made chips are a perfect accessory for any sandwich. It's set way back from the busy street (quieter that way), but worth the effort to find. In warmer weather, I expect the outdoor 'back porch' will draw a crowd. Not to... read more

The food is great and there is so much of it. You can get daily specials at good prices. Besides the BBQ, try the fried chicken and other great entrees. You will never leave hungry.

Reminiscent of corner taverns everywhere, Moe's has fewer than a dozen tables (though outside patio seating is available), and the small staff makes the place feel homey. The food, however, sets it apart. The barbecue was exceptional, but the cornbread was the best I'd ever had in a restaurant.

First they gave my husband the wrong order so he went back and reordered at which time they told him they were out of the mac and cheese because their oven wasn't working properly that day. When he finally got his pork sandwich he said it was very good. My catfish sandwich was delicious, however the whole mixup ordeal took... More

Moe's is a small place that would be easy to miss as you drive along the busy highway that it sits on. The building itself is Ed nothing special and weird at best. But once I stepped in the door my nose told me that this was going to be good. The menu has all the usual BBQ items and... More

Except for the pulled pork which could have been warmer, the food was fine and the portion was plentiful. I had the cat fish meal and truly enjoyed it.

The food was good. I would have preferred a restaurant where we were waited on and did not have to order at the counter. The staff was very friendly.

While searching on Trip Advisor for places to eat while staying in Gulf Shores, Alabama, I came upon Moe's. It had a good rating, and we were in the mood for some good Bar B Que. This placed delivered that and more. The moment we walked in and smelled the wonderful aromas from the pit, we knew we were in... More

Ribs outstanding as was the pulled pork. Sides are really good such as fried apples, skillet corn, and squash. The cornbread is to die for. Visited twice in 4 days!
