There are many good places to eat in the Orange Beach and Gulf Shores area, but not all of them have an air of elegance. Some have fish or shrimp baskets with French fries and slaw, good food but casual and predictable. This place is different. It is nice for an "occasion." Try the pecan or almond crusted grouper or... There are so many places to eat in the Perdido Key, Orange Beach, Gulf Shores area that I admit, we haven't been back here in years. Not because it wasn't delicious but just because we've been exploring different places. Well, my girlfriend joined us at the beach for a few days and we all decided it was time to head... More

Dined here with my family on Nov 11, 2014. They have a wide menu selection of grouper entrees. If available, I recommend the "Two Dine for $49" option which is a good deal. Everything was delicious and well prepared. The only negative was that my wife felt her grouper dish was a little too salty.

Nice restaurant, on the water with some good views, the food is fresh and flavorful. In my opinion it is more of a date night restaurant than a family style.

One of the nice things about going back to a place year after year is you learn what works and what doesn't. This year was very nice. We had a wonderful corn & crab bisque, salads and grouper a la Kevin (fresh grouper with a shrimp & mushroom sauce over rice - very nice) and Lobster and shrimp etouffee, which... More

Love all of their grouper dishes for a wonderful sunday brunch at a reasonable price. Key lime pie is a real treat along with 1.00 mimosas.

Beautiful setting & view. The free appetizer that we got with the coupon from the visitor center booklet was huge & delicious. It had to be nearly a pound of shrimp and seasoned perfectly. A great start. So large that we had to take it back to hotel to have room for main course, which was also delicious. We ordered... More

All of the restaurants run by the Southern Rest. Group are top shelf but La. Lagniappe (here and in Destin) are the best of the best. Must try the Grouper Pontchartrain and Oysters Lagniappe, as well as the, creme brulee'. You will not be disappointed.

The food is to die for! Chef is on top of his game! Tracy provided superb service! Little pricey but you get your money's worth if wanting a nice intimate dinner. One of our best wedding anniversary dinners ever!
