Louisiana Lagniappe was recommended by our daughter who had occasion to eat at the Lagniappe Restaurant in Destin, Florida. We were a party of five and everyone's selection was superb. The fried oysters were crisp yet moist and juicy on the inside. The Grouper Pecan was very tasty as was the Blackened Grouper and the Lump Meat Crab Salad. Probably... More

This was one of our best dinners while in Gulf Shores last week. I had the BBQ shrimp which was divine! And my hubby had shrimp jambalya. We shared the peanut butter chocolate dessert. Wow. It was yummy. Our waiter was kind of gruff at first, so we weren't expecting the service to be extraordinary, but he warmed up &... More

Louisiana Lagniappe was recommended to us by our check-in clerk. This was the best meal we had in Gulf Shores. Service was very good and the food excellent. We had two different fish dishes and both were exceptional.

We each had something different, a western omelet, french toast and crab cake eggs benedict. All were excellent, my only except for were the breakfast potatoes that came with the omelet they were not hot. The opening mimosas and beignets were great as was the fresh fruit. My daughters and I would definitely recommend Louisiana Lagniappe's Sunday Brunch.

When I was first shown the table in the side room in the back I should have just left with my wife because there were more than several good tables open in the main dining room and better tables in the side room. No, they weren't being held since they don't take reservations. The appetizer was very good (crab cakes).... More

We have eaten here when other years, was disappointed, the food was good but a lot smaller servings. The wait staff was good as always.

Hi! I went to The Louisiana Lagniappe in Orange Beach, AL on New Years Eve. It was fantastic! You know for a seafood restaurant I would not have expected them to have the best steak on the island. The special was 2 4.5 oz filet medallions garnished with a green peppercorn bourbon sauce. It must be prime Angus beef because... More

We can't go to OB (or destin) without a trip to lagniappe!! Service is always great and food is always wonderful! I love trying their specials, but my husbands staple is the grouper ponchatrain. Lagniappe is a little on the pricey side but worth every penny!
