In 1984, Louisiana Lagniappe was opened and established inside Sandpiper Cove condominiums in what was at one time the Sandpiper Cove Yacht Club. A loyal following was quickly established due, in no small part, to the quality of the food and the attention to detail of the service. In 1998 The Southern Restaurant Group took ownership of the restaurant with a commitment to maintain the same level of food quality and service. Since then, Louisiana Lagniappe has consistently served only the freshest seafood and steaks. Now open year round, Louisiana Lagniappe is the spot for a memorable dining experience on all levels. In 1999, a second Louisiana Lagniappe was opened in the San Roc Cay Shopping and Marina Complex in Orange Beach, Alabama. Offering the same fine Louisiana seafood with a Creole flair, the attire is casual, yet an upscale waterfront dining experience is provided for the entire family.

Fantastic Food, Great Service

On our 1st trip there, 3 couples had the 2 for $49 special. We each tried a different entrée. We were all very pleased with the food and the service. Every entrée was great, eye appealingly presented and delicious. A couple of us said it was one of the best meals we've had. Everyone said they... read more

We were 2 couples in Orange Beach for some R & R. Our "specialty of the night" flounder with crabmeat and shrimp, baked in pappilotte was beyond description! We also shared a shrimp appetizer that was delicious. The trout almondine also looked scrumptious and my friend confirmed that it was. Michael, our waiter, was friendly, efficient, and very helpful, in... More

Simply delicious. There was not one mis-step during our entire dinning experience. We happened upon this restaurant and perhaps were not properly (a bit too casual) attired but decided to go ahead and dine since we were hungry and they did not seem to busy. We did noticed that some people were dressed very nicely as if for a special... More

I have come to this restaurant for many years. It is my #1 go to seafood restaurant each time my family visits Orange Beach. I would go so far as to say it is in my top 5 restaurants of all time. The place also has sentimental value for me as my father took us here in my younger years... More

Our server Michael had wonderful recommendations for our family party of six. I had the tournedos of beef with crab and bearnaise. It was the best steak I've ever had, melted in my mouth. My dad had the lobster and shrimp etoufee. He loved it. Mom had the grouper with meuniere sauce. Also awesome. My husband had blackened grouper with... More

Our group of six all enjoyed everything we ordered - from the Grouper to the steak to the crab cakes. Bisque was really good too. Yum! Wesley was the bartender - we really, really enjoyed talking with him. Exceptional, took great care of us, even coming to our table later to update us on the score from the game we... More

Our group of seven visited in October and had no wait being seated at 5:30. Service is friendly yet professional and the drinks are well made. On our ticket we had sauteed grouper topped with shrimp and hollandaise, and lobster tail with shrimp etouffee. Both were delicious and came with a salad and creole stuffed potato. We both had enough... More

Anytime we visit Orange Beach, we make a point to eat at Louisiana Lagniappe. Everything is delicious. My favorite is the tuna. The entire staff is very friendly.
