The family and I ordered a giant seafood platter that included snow crab, shrimp, potatoes, corn, and more. The flavor was good and I liked the cocktail sauce which I usually don't like. The kids and I really loved everything but hubby doesn't care to work so hard for his meal by peeling shrimp, cracking crabs and such. If you're... More

This is the 2nd time we have eaten at Gulf Shores Steamer in Orange Beach and it was excellent! We went during Spring Break and were seated right away with no wait. Out waitress was prompt and attentive and in no time we had our food. We ordered the Steamer platter for 4 and there was more than enough food... More

The service was great. The meal equally so, but for Gulf Shores - expensive. none the less, will return.

I love fried but my girlfriend wanted to skip the fried for one meal. Everything was excellent but I just don't think crab claws were meant to be anything but fried.sat outside and watched the deckhands while we enjoyed our dinner and a cpl of cold ones. Good times- great food!

I had take out from here tonight. I didn't want to eat there because I was tired and wanted to get back to the hotel. The staff was friendly, restaurant clean, food was good (I had steamed mussels and oysters). Prices seemed high to me, but I didn't see how big the platters are. My only complaint was that they... Great food seafood choices, even for those in our party with diet requirements. You may get your food prepared briled, fried or steamed. Regardless of preperation, you will not be disapointed.ctgATL

The seafood is really quite tasty. The raw oyster on a half shell, the new potatoes, the shrimp is also excellent. But it really is a shack. And often times, those are the ones with the best food!

Service is good with a normal choice of seafoods on menu. Oysters on half shell are very good without any grit. Hamburgers are tasty as well for non fish eaters.

I had eaten at a Steamers in Gulf Shores 15 years ago and had the best shrimp (Royal Reds) ever! I was looking forward to seeing if this was the same restaurant but at a different location. I went there for lunch on Sunday at around 11:30 am and was promptly seated. One may sit indoors or outside on the... More
