Good Solid Choice

Food is always great. Service was so so. Spaghetti and meatballs portion is huge, definitely shareable. Pizza was great thin crust.

As a part time resident of OB whenever I'm in the mood for Italian I always end up at Franco's. I've had many good meals here either solo or with my wife. I usually have Ryan (I believe is his name) as my waiter and always have great service. This past Sunday my wife and I took two new friends... More

Unless you hate food, do not go to Franco's "Real" Italian Restaurant. First off, the unlimited salad is bagged salad (can taste the plastic) and the bread is a nearly-too-hard-to-eat french roll with some minced garlic on the top. No flavor, no good texture, no butter, just a little bread brick. The food was terrible. Everything was drenched in sauce... More

All the traditional favorites and a few modern twists. Service very family orientated and friendly.Red sauce maybe a little on the spicy side for some as it tastes as if there is crushed red pepper in it. We like spicy so this was more welcome than not. Seafood lasagna had real chunk crab, whole scallops and shrimp with a tasty... More

We went for a late afternoon lunch/early dinner. Service was pretty decent; our server was nice and attentive. I ordered the shrimp Parmesan, my husband ordered some sort of seafood Alfredo. My dish.....it just wasn't a good concept to start with. Battered, fried shrimp tossed in a spaghetti sauce topped with cheese & then baked....the taste of the seafood was... More

We were on the beach when an airplane passed overhead advertising Franco's. We were more than pleased with the atmosphere and food. Started off with stuffed mushrooms (excellent). Ordered one of their signature dishes, Seafood Lasagna. It came with 2 sides. Had the asparagus and a dinner salad. The entire time we were eating there were people waiting to get... More

I went to Franco in Oct 2014, the restrooms was very clean, the food was very and hot, my wife order a Alfredo, it was very thick and sauce very creamy with pasta. It was a lot of food for the price. The salad with the meal was very fresh, but the waiting wasn't so quick, but the food was... More

My daughter and I wanted a change from seafood so we picked what we thought was a nice Italian place. We were seated right away and our waiter introduced himself and commented he was also the bartender. He brought our drinks took our order and left. About 25 minutes later he threw a salad at the table and went back... More
