We were looking for something besides seafood for the evening and took a chance. We were quite surprised by the quality. The gorganzola chips were a hit. The pizza was good and kid's pasta got a thumbs up. I didn't expect much from the veal piccata, so I was surprised that it was good and tender.

We have made our trip to Franco's a closing night tradition with our kids. After a week at the beach eating fresh seafood for most meals our family enjoys the tradition of Italian on our last night. The kids order pizza and chicken parmigiana while the adults feast on the endless salad and bread followed by eggplant parmigiana. Although it... More

The endless salad bowl and hot bread was fantastic, I had the Sicilian Skillet and it was very good. The waitstaff was very attentive and we had a wonderful evening.

My wife and I had dinner at your restaurant on Jan 16. The server was excellent. We wintered the last two years in Lake Havasu, Az and experienced 2 excellent Italian restaurants. La Vita Dolce Mama Mia In comparison we were extremely disappointed in your food offerings. We had Veal Parmagian and Veal Marsalla. Both were of poor quality. Sauce... More

The food and the atmosphere are fine. The prices are OK, too. There is one hostess, the short woman with short black hair, who can drive business away. We were here last year, too, and so was she, so she is probably an owner or manager. Anyway, she's rude, frowny and just makes a poor first impression. The other two... More

We had just left our (Fairfields) hotel to wander along the parade of shops - there is a Walmart Market for example - when we came upon Franco's board offering daily "small plate" dishes between 3 and 6 and Happy Hour drinks. As it was almost quarter to six, we went quickly to look at the menu outside only to... More

Decor is old-fashioned in this strip mall restaurant with a nice covered outdoor seating area. Yet another restaurant with multiple TVs on and loud music playing, the person that seated me thought I'd want to sit on the other side of the booth to watch the TV - no. Part way through my meal an employee made herself comfortable at... More

We just went to Franco's for our first time because of the write up. The salad and tea were good. The pasta and veal parmigana were too heavy with sauce. The food was mediocre. No one was smiling!!! This was our first and LAST time we will go there. We just moved here and are trying restaurants. So far, we... More

If you are looking for great Italian food, this is the place to go in Orange Beach. The salad is so good! I haven't had a bad meal there. I would highly suggest it. Franco's doesn't look like much being that it's in a strip center, but it's well worth the trip.

The chicken was thin, over cooked and tough. Service was so-so. Wine list not good. Essentially I didn't even eat my meal because it was so bad. Yet the server didn't ask why I didn't eat the meal. When leaving the person at the front asked how my meal was and I told her. She made no comment and no... More
