We had a wonderful meal at Doc's on July 29. The food was very fresh and the service was good. This is a down-home kind of place so don't expect anything fancy. The food is worth it, especially the shrimp salad and the soft shell crabs. more

I would not recommend Doc's in Orange Beach to anyone. The shrimp was small and definitely not fresh. All of the food (hushpuppies, stuffed crab, shrimp, etc.) must have been bought frozen at the local grocery store or a restaurant supplier. The service was not good either. I was not pleased with having to pay $80 for this stuff! more

We always make one or two trips to Doc's on our visits to the beach here. If you want reasonable prices with lots of fried fish and shrimp (the portions are great), we get our to go and enjoy this dinner on our deck overlooking the Gulf. The people are good "neighbors next door". Go...enjoy more

You get to make your own cocktail sauce with raw horseradish, ketchup and your favorite hot sauce. Cold beer is a big plus here. more
