Ordered the fried seafood platter--good seafood, alittle more batter than I would like but very tasty. The fries were very average- in fact very bland. Need to spice up the fries. My wife had a hamburger and it was great. A great hamburger in an oyster house!! Atmosphere was very pleasant and the prices were appropriate. Would return and would... More

Great happy hour value. Oysters are wonderful. Dinner prices are a little high but nice place to try.

We have been coming to Orange Beach in Jan &/or Feb for years but we missed last year. This year we have found that the happy hour oysters on the half shell at Wintzell's for $7.50/dz are still the best value in Orange Beach. They were good both times we had them this month. Fried green bean happy hour appetizer... More

Ordered fried oysters and a plain baked potato. Oysters were fine. The potato came with a small container of sour cream and a container of "whipped spread". The Whipped Spread had more than 10 chemical ingredients. I asked the waitress for some butter. She returned to say the chef had only liquid margarine or the whipped spread. Yikes! Whoever heard... We ate here Sunday evening about 7:30 and it was not crowded. My wife had jumbo shrimp with salad and fries. I had the fish and shrimp combo with slaw and fried okra. The waitress was nice and prompt and the food came out in a short while. Everything we ordered was very good, nothing bad about the visit. They... More

Went late Saturday night and most of the crowd had gone. We ordered take out and by the time we got to the room it was still hot. We got a baked platter and a fried platter and both were great.

Wintzell's is always a good idea. I've been going to Wintzell's since the only one they had was the original one in downtown Mobile. Great seafood!

We had a couple drinks and appetizers here during the week and they were great and the wait staff knowledgable and fun. Tried it again on Sunday, the weekend, as they advertise Happy Hour 7 days a week, and it was not the same.Drink Prices I was charged were higher, not as many beer choices as offered during the week,...
