My wife and I were in Orange Beach, Alabama and it was late one evening. We arrived at the restaurant at 9 PM with a closing time of 9:30 PM. We ended up leaving at about 10:45 PM. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. No one asked us to leave and we felt comfortable during our time... More

Can't beat $7 oyster on the half shell in the bar and $1 draft beer. Also been on past occasions for dinner and Sunday Brunch. Can't go wrong at happy hour though!!

We usually go for the happy hours and for Sunday brunch although it is also an excellent place for a very nice dinner out. The view is wonderful as the restaurant is right at Perdido Pass from the bay into the Gulf. Wine choices are excellent ad food is always good. We have always had great service even when it... More

Service overall was good, but drinks took longer to arrive than we would have liked. Most of us liked our food pretty well; I was surprised by how much I enjoyed my steak, as seafood restaurants typically don't do such a great job with non-seafood entrees. Prices seem a little high for what you're getting, but that's typical of vacation... More

Service was horrible. Food was poor quality and not as advertised on website. Dirty plates on buffet. Buffet was very lacking. Items were not replenished. Very expensive for food quality and service.

Cobalt is located under the bridge, on the bay, to Orange Beach. It is a really neat place to eat. A late lunch during Happy hour - 3pm to 6 pm, garners you some great bargains (Firecracker Shrimp, a large personal cheese pizza and more 0 for reasonable prices. The service is attentive and being able to look out at... More

I go to Cobalt several times a year when I'm here in the winter months. I've always loved their Oyster Po Boys and given it a top ten. It's still up there in the top ten but it's fallen a little behind. The service is great at Cobalt and the view is exactly what you'd want at the beach with... More

Vactioning at the beach during the winter months has its advantages. You get snowbird prices and no wait. But with that you must also have good food, service and atmosphere. Cobalt has it all! Our waiteer was Bart and he made you fell like you had known him forever. I observed the other waiters/waitresses and felt that they were just... More

Tucked out of the way on Perdido Pass, this is one of the best on the beach. Two times on last trip. Good atmosphere, great staff, nice outdoor area with fire pits. Food was good, oysters great and the drinks strong. Fair prices too. Crowded, even in low season, so get there early

The hostess had a dismal personality (typical for Cobalt) & the service was awful. Waited at the bar for a table at the bar (while there were several empty tables) & still received no service while waiting at the bar. Mediocre food. The only thing they have going for them is the view.
