We stopped for lunch and ate outside . We enjoyed watching the boats pass by. We all enjoyed to food as well . I believe they are known for firecracker shrimp but we didn't try that.

We went with a party of 8 on a week night. The hostess said it would be around 45 minutes. While we waited, There was lots to do. We walked down to the pier and looked at the boats. We went to the outside bar and listened to a band. We went to the inside bar and had drinks and... More

We've been in Gulf Shores for five days and had a bit of a time finding a place for dinner where you didn't feel like you were in a production line human feed lot. Cobalt finally was a place we could actually sit down in a relatively quiet place and order dinner. I took the family and they had a... More

This is our second time to eat here for lunch. Delicious food, very friendly and efficient waitress. The "sweet" counter as you walk in is to die for! You must leave some room for a cupcake, etc. nice touch with the sea salt scrub in the restrooms! The tall ceilings and windows make it a happy place to dine. The... More

As a local, we do enjoy Cobalt's happy hour (3:30 - 5:30pm). However, the last two times we've visited for their happy hour, their outside bar has been closed! We've asked when the outside bar was opening and was told, "soon." Both times, it was nearly 4pm when we arrived. We do NOT enjoy sitting inside because the restaurant is... More

Cobalt is a gem on this busy, tourist oriented stretch of the Gulf Coast. The menu offers a bit of everything - pizzas and burgers for the kids, gourmet delights for adults. The tuna stack appetizer is yummy. We had the grouper special and the fish of the day (Cobie, grilled). Both were outstanding. The view is lovely with a... More

Food is excellent and we never mind the wait(an hour and a half at dinner time). There is always room to sit outside, listen to music, get drinks, and enjoy the view.

Went on a very rainy Friday evening (7/18/14). The wait was 1+ hour and there was hardly any place to wait and pass the time. It was wall to wall people; 3 or 4 deep around the bar. I felt bad for patrons who had to dine at the tables near the bar because the foot traffic around that area... More

We visit Orange Beach every year for our family vacation. Cobalt is always a favorite stop with the great views, great food, and excellent service. We just visited again in July of 2014 and had another great experience! If it's not too hot I would recommend sitting outside because of the gorgeous views!
