OK Food. Inconsistent Service.

Have been to Ginny Lane's three times. Lunch outside twice -- wonderful deck right at the docks! Very nice. I was inside on my third visit. Atmosphere was very nice. The oyster sampler on the night I was there is best described as "Not bad, not great." The entree salads I had on my lunch visits... read more

Ginny Lane has become one of our favorites. We had been to their Sunday Bubbles and Brunch, which was great, so when we saw their 4 Course Beer Dinner advertised, we made reservations. The beers were from Good People Brewery. The first course was Cajun Beer Braised Pork Shoulder with Pale Ale, and it was scrumptious. Second course was Blackened... More

Went to Ginny Lane with family, the food was very good and a little different than the fired food that so many restaurants down here which is a nice change. I had crab cakes really good. Our server couldn't have been better she really looked after us. Will go again.

Stopped by to try out the place & ordered a cup of their seafood gumbo & one of shrimp & artichoke chowder. Both were perfect. Added a splash of Tabasco sauce to each & devoured them. Waiter was a sweetheart. Sidewalk dining was nice. Inside seating looked out on the waterfront & was really pretty. Definitely want to go back... More

My wife and I had the lunch special. Bacon wrapped shiirmp over cheese grits. We arrived early and the food and service was great. This was the first time we had been there since they moved across the street. Much nicer and roomer.

To the last reviewer Mike... You apparently are not very skilled, nor qualified to write reviews. We have been going to Ginny Lane for many years and have always enjoyed it! Expectations are always met... It's not a five star restaurant so it goes without saying five star service is not expected. Quality, well prepared food, and adequate, if not... More

First time to try the brunch. Very good selection and 1 free mimosa with order. Food was really good. Well worth a trip to visit this location. Servers were friendly and quick to wait on us. Prices were exceptional for the food choices. Being a local it is always good to find a place you enjoy and would frequent. This... More

We love Ginny Lane and overall, the quality is excellent. However, the nachos were a disappointment - cheese spread instead of real cheese, skimpy on the meat, no avocado, and generally below the quality of the other foods served. The house salad is fabulous and the bacon wrapped shrimp - A+.

Excellent spot for lunch. Grilled Shrimp BLT, Shrimp Artichoke Bisque, gumbo & oysters all delicious. Very good service, relaxed dining. We'll definitely be back!
