Durango's is classic mexican food. We really enjoyed the steak fajitas for two and our friends had taco salad and burritos and all were good. The steak fajitas was piled with steak....actually a third person could have eaten this with us, there was so much. We have been here once before and the quality has remained the same. We will... We have eaten here a couple of times and it really is just okay food. The good thing about it is the service is fast.

Good Mexican food. If you need your "fix" then this is the place to get it. Good service and great prices. Large restaurant. Plenty of room.

This used to be a pretty good restaurant. Maybe someone else is running it now. Our last meal there LAST is the operative word here, was so bland we poured all our salsa on the food for some flavor. Only then did we see that the salsa bowl had a large chip, as well as a crack all the way... More

The salsa is pretty mild but the fajitas are pretty good. The chips are hot and were fresh the night we were there. The service was good. The refried beans tasted like they came out of a can, and the pico was not as fresh as I would have expected, but the food was tasty and the place was very... More

Nothing says "authentic Mexican style taste" like Opelika, Alabama. This is a perfectly serviceable little place. It is nicely decorated, with an attentive staff. The food and portions are adequate, if a bit bland. I prefer Laredo, but this place is far more quiet and intimate. A solid pick.

We stopped in at Hwy 280 location for dinner on a weeknight and were seated right away. A spacious, comfortable environment with prompt, friendly service. Our only complaint was that all the meats were too salty. Maybe we'd try vegetarian on another occasion -- more likely, we'd skip.
