We were here for Sunday brunch. The decor is a traditional dark wood Irish Pub; very casual. They do offer outside seating. The menu choices are okay. We did like the egg. Skillets and pancakes. The food quality is good and satisfactory. It is certainly a solid choice to have a casual quality breakfast. It just isn't outstanding. The waitress... More

Irish pubs rarely have good food and on this visit they lived up to the norm. Atomsphere had a real attempt at an irish pub -- dark woods, floors and walls; Hard surfaces, high ceiling (it was a very old building) sticky bar like chairs and booths. Waitress was quick after we were seated but didn't spend much time after... More

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and wonderful food! The blackened trout with grits was delicious. Our waitress, Jenni, was fantastic! We will definitely return!

I go to the Irish Bred pub nearly every weekend for brunch. The Irish Skillet is incredible! Service is great, even when busy. The fried with gravy and mozzarella cheese is wonderful as well. It also helps that they have Guinness on tap! Best place in Auburn-Opelika area for weekend brunch, lunch, or dinner.

I had the grilled fish with salad and the very delicious stone-ground grits. Yum, yum. On other occassions, I have had the steamed mussels in white wine sauce. Can't go wrong with that dish either. The burgers are great and cooked as ordered.

I had a shepherds pie that was average taste with two or three peas but loaded with the potatoes and had some large chunks of potatoes. Wife had a fried chicken over penne that was tasty. But the side was a broccoli salad that the broccoli was all yellow, obviously had been around way too long.

On a Saturday we took a drive through Opelika on the way to the lake and discovered the Irish Bred. Walking in we felt like we were in Ireland. Great atmosphere. We are obviously late comers to the discovery of the establishment. Crowded and lively with friendly service. We both ordered the Omalley's Shillelagh sandwich which has to rank as... More

The building was beautiful. Our waitress was nice, but by no means friendly. Food was ok, fried is always good. Irish is a stretch! They do have Stella on draft. As we were leaving we said thank you to our waitress with no reply.... Not sure we will return

Took 35 minutes to serve our order. Besides that is okay. Food is very good and the waiter apologized for the delay
