My fiancé and I visited here for dessert, which we did not need, after stuffing ourselves to the max for dinner across the street at El Rey Burrito lounge (see also my review of that restaurant). My fiancé had a hot chocolate, I had a flavored iced coffee and we each had a dessert, he some kind of cookie, and... More

Visited Aug 2nd. I had a peanut butter cookie and cheesecake (vanilla bean). Staff was kind caring and made sure we got what we wanted. I don't know our cashier's/waiter's name, but he had reddish hair and a beard. Nice place.

Sandwiches, pastries and bagels are all delish! Fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Wonderful relaxed vibe in the cafe. However the coffee is awful-watery, weak and flavorless. If the owners are reading this-please, please, please revamp your coffee lineup. Also, give your customers real half and half. Using land o lakes individual creamer packets is terrible.

Love this place! Great sandwiches and iced tea in a cozy, pleasant space. Free wi-fi, too. Cloverdale is the coolest area in Montgomery, and Cafe Louisa is one of the coolest destinations in Cloverdale.

I moved to Montgomery about two months ago but avoided going to Cafe Louisa because I knew once I started going I wouldn't be able to stop. I bought my first bagel there about a week ago and have already gone back at least 3 or 4 times. Their everything bagels are solid and their morning glory muffins are amazing!... More

Food was OK, overpriced a bit, but OK. Service was totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I get how the whole "slacker" attitude fits in but these folks transcend trendy and enter into just plain inept. Bottom line is this place has a good menu with terrible execution.

We 3 ladies were having a girls lunch out and one friend suggested we come here. We weren't disappointed. We ordered 3 different things and each was very tasty and carefully prepared. The portions were generous as well. The hummus plate had 2 different kinds of olives which was great to see. Our Italian Creme sodas we ordered were short... More

Everything is overpriced. Quality isn't that great. They have a ridiculous debit/credit card limit to try to force you to buy more to meet the minimum. Employees are snobs who are slow and don't seem to care about good service.

They had baked goods, gelatos, and coffees. It is connected to the Tomatino's pizza shop, so you can head next door for dessert. There are some non-dairy sorbets as well.

The pastries are homemade and bagels are great with veggie cream cheese. Coffee is good especially if Farm House blend.
