Wonderful food and service

Having experienced Texas style barbecue I was anxious to take my family there for lunch. The restaurant is located in a historic area with several adjacent eating locations. The atmosphere is upbeat with large panel TVs showing sports programming. The menu has lots of options and our party ordered... read more

The full slab of pork ribs was more than two of us could eat. Perhaps we should have cut back on the beans, slaw, and potato salad. Second thought--do not cut back. Sides were very good also. Great beer selection. A must if you are looking for a great meal.

I'm not the biggest BBQ fan. One would ask, then why go ! I was outnumbered in our group. I ordered ribs. They were fatty and just disgusting. I did enjoy the pulled pork though, until I came up with some type of bone or cartilage. I personally wouldn't bother with this place. If you like that stuff, more power... More

We love the food here. Some of the best barbecue around! It's usually hit or miss with the service, today was a miss. Two women and a baby, aren't usually what a server likes to see, and that is exactly how we were treated. My daughter and I had our food in front of us for 5 minutes without silverware,... More

Joy was the most unfriendly bartender ever. She never smiled and gave the minimum on service. She didn't even ask if the food was satisfactory which it was barely that. Rib were tasteless.

Dreamland atmosphere was ideal and in close proximity to several hotels. There are televisions to watch sports.

We always stop in at Dreamlands when we drive through Montgomery or any other city that it occupies. Their ribs are delicious! The sauce they come with are lick your fingers good and they always bring stacks of bread with extra sauce, which I'm sure I could make a meal of if the ribs weren't so darn good! The mac... More

Dreamland went out of their way to help a traveler. It was my first trip to Montgomery, and I was arriving in the evening. Did some online searching, and decided Dreamland was a good choice a block from my hotel. Unfortunately, the flight was delayed, and I arrived at 9:30pm. Dreamland closes at 10. With the help of a friendly... More

The pulled pork sandwich was delicious and the waiter was a lot of fun. He convinced me to get the banana pudding and I don't particularly like pudding but it was great.

My husband and I popped into Dreamland BBQ while taking a stroll around downtown Montgomery. We sat at the bar and were quickly waited on. We had just recently eaten lunch at another restaurant but I'd head good things about their banana pudding. We ordered a cup to split and O----M----G!!!! We should have ordered a pint (or more!) It... More
