Your road trip through Montgomery is not complete without having a meal at Dreamland BBQ and Ribs. A little honkey-tonk, a little local cafe', Dreamland offers a great menu of local favs. Husband and I decided to share a full rack of ribs sitting at the bar. What we did not realize was these would be huge, juicy ribs, not... More

The food was good but I would not rate it as the best. Being that it was a short walk from the Double Tree Hotel it was worth it.

We were sightseeing historic sights in Downtown Montgomery. Dreamland BBQ was recommended. The sauce is excellent. Nice vinegar based red sauce. Good enough that we bought a quart to take home. Chopped pork was delicious. Serving sizes were quite adequate and good value for the $. Excellent service!

Bottom line...ribs were worst we ever had, tough and chewy. Had to pull hard to get meet off the bone and then chew n chew n chew and still couldn't break it down. Sauce was typical sauce found on hot wings, no way bbq sauce. They were out of half the beers on tap. Mac n cheese was over cooked... More

We found this place on our way back home from Birmingham via Trip Advisor, we use it for everything !!! My wife and I cannot say enough about this place, the food was fantastic, we had the ribs and pulled chicken, it was cooked perfectly, with very good bbq sauce as well, great baked beans, amazing mac and cheese, and... Food is etable, but it was not anything to write home about. They don't used much seasoning in the food and I personally like my Bar-B-Q with the sauce cooked in rather than poured on after it has been served. It is not like the original Dreamland in Tuscaloosa.

We were staying at the Renaissance on a golf trip along the Robert Trent Jones Trail and dropped in for a quick bite at lunch time. We decided to split the Bid Daddy chopped pork sandwich with coleslaw. Excellent sandwich which comes served on a nice bun and the side of coleslaw was wonderful and fresh. Their bbq sauce which... True barbecue lovers realize every region's cue is different and good in its own way. Best options are chopped chicken and pork. Ribs are average. They also serve barbecue sausage which is a specialty for most barbecue restaurants. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. I recommend this to anyone visiting from out of town looking for good south eastern... More

We walked in and, having never been there before, weren't sure whether we needed to wait for a hostess or seat ourselves. After having stood there for a bit, a waiter walked by and I asked him. He said good luck with that. Not exactly helpful. Anyway, he did clean off a table for us to sit. After another bit,... More
