This is good BBQ. Friendly atmosphere and convenient when you are attending a downtown event. Service is good as well.

I've been eating at the original Dreamland in Tuscaloosa for 30 years, now. I was a bit leery about the very nice Montgomery version ... I mean, compared to Tuscaloosa this is a very nice restaurant. The original is, well, unique. But Montgomery was very comfortable and very good. The ribs were definitely Dreamland, and mine were perfectly prepared. We... More

These guys are all over Montgomery. I think that their brand gets a little dispersed along the way, but if you go to the restaurant you get the real deal. If you haven't gone to the ally, give them another chance. I have has BBQ all over, and the ribs here stand equal to any challenger. Worth every penny!

My eighteen year-old son and I went to Dreamland last night. Excited for the ribs. Wah wah... Sorry guys. Just average. His ribs were overcooked. On a bit of a more positive note, my stew was great (lots of veggies) and the restaurant is within walking distance of quite a few downtown hotels. Hint to management...don't store boxes and misc.... Driving through Montgomery on a BBQ road trip and this was a nice starting point. The sauce is more vinegary, but tasty and my sandwich was on point. This isn't healthy or fancy but it is a nice introduction to good bbq.

We stumbled across this place when passing through Montgomery and so glad we did. The ribs were tender and juicy, while the sauce was delicious. The burger was juicy and very tasty. Highly recommend this place.

This franchise is famous to the Crimson Tide. This particular location is a bit different in atmosphere from the original in Tuscaloosa. It is in downtown Montgomery, across from the baseball stadium, in a nice area. There actually is a menu here, but it's mostly ribs. It's the sauce that sets it apart. The meat is not "fall off the... More

Went to Dreamland in Montgomery best food we have had on our 2200Ml road-trip around the South of USA. The ribs and pulled pork washed down with Blue Moon were worth the journey. Our waitress Genesis was fantastic big smile on her face and very talkative. The next time we are over from South Africa it just might be worth... More

Dreamland BBQ started in Tuscaloosa and has expanded across Alabama and the south. It doesn't have the ambiance of the original dreamland but the service and food are good.

If you want to check out the railway station, the riverfront park or catch a Biscuit’s ball game you should put Dreamland on your list. Parking and wait time might be issue because of the location to these local attractions. The BBQ was good and price the average the only thing I didn’t understand was the white bread served with...
