GREAT Burgers!

We ordered 3 deluxe cheeseburgers, 3 bags of chips and 3 bottles of root beer and the total was $21. Burgers were all great! This is just a simple, hole-in-the-wall type place but it is excellent for a quick burger. Beats fast food at similar prices.

Don't come to Hamburger King at lunch time and expect quick service. The crowd can be incredible for such a small restaurant but there is a reason for the crowd. The burgers (and egg sandwiches) are simply the best. These are not "eat in the car" as they drip everywhere but that's one reason they are so good. It's not... More

I've visited the King on a few occasions after learning of it's semi-cult status in Montgomery, and I wish I had learned about it sooner. The staff are polite and prompt as it has always been extremely busy when I've been there, and the atmosphere is clean yet simple and dated; this isn't a bad thing at all, it's just... More

Dont' come here if you are looking for a squeaky clean, up to date eatery. This place is a tiny, dingy, greasy, old-school hole in the wall and FABULOUS.....best hamburgers ever. It's been around for a LONG LONG time for a reason--it's GOOD! Greasy goodness...no health food here. At lunch, you'll find construction workers right alongside lawyers scarfing down some... More

In a world of over-hyped corporate chains, this is a welcome throwback to days of simple greasy food and welcome atmosphere. It has a genuine old-school charm and fantastic burgers... Just with chips, no fries.... Simple, yet delicious

This is a family run hole in the wall. No frills, no fries. However, they are justifiably famous for their very messy burgers. Very small eating area, they mostly serve lunch for a takeout business crowd. They are only open for lunch and it worth the trip to get a burger and some chips.

We actually visited the food truck location at Sikes and Khons country Mall. So yummy and plenty of outdoor seating. Weave a day of it after a visit to McClellanda Critters.

Recently a newspaper reporter sampled cheeseburgers in the state of Alabama. As a result, the reporter posted a winner and fifteen runners-up. Hamburger King in Montgomery, AL was one of the runners-up. I have made it my mission to visit as many of these burger places as possible. I have been to Hamburger King several times now, and I keep... More

If you like fast food burgers, do not come here. Hand made burgers made to order with all the trimmings. Maybe not the best meal I ever had (it is a cozy diner), but it may very well be the best burger. Simplicity at its best. No fries, no onion rings just an incredible burger with chips in a setting... Yuck. I guess there must be tons of people who like greasy burgers served with nothing but the finest frito lay products available. Given the exposure in magazines and the rave reviews I expected a lot better. You'll get a better burger at a fast food joint.
