Great service and the drinks are wonderful! Appetizers were nicely done and the atmosphere is great.

Our server seemed frazzled. A bit like a chicken running around with her head cut off. It took her a few minutes to get into gear. The pizza was ok. Could have been better, but the crust was very dense and flat. It seemed to be good crust which was either old or had been overworked to the point of... More

This is what I see in my head when I imagine great family Italian dining. Worth every penny. Wonderful atmosphere with lots of talking. True to a great New York Italian restaurant experience. Every table was full all night! Go go go!

The sauces were very good. They seemed understaffed though. We had to wait forever for our check and drinks.

Reasonable noise level in an open seating format, the price was good for the food/portions, and the food itself was wonderful. I had the chicken piccata and it was great!

Wish I had gotten the pizza. Got the salmon and it was not cooked all the way, and had a weird spice rub on top. Tasted lemony, although it also came with a lemon. Potatoes were "escalloped" but that meant sliced and.....I'm not sure, baked? Oily with lots of pepper. Salmon portion was large. Kind of expensive for what you... More

The pizza was very good. Got the gyro pizza. Others in our party got the meatballs and they were hard and no flavor. The garlic bread lacked garlic. The waitress was nice. It bothered me that they had Pepsi in the south. No coke, come on. I might go back if there was nothing else to try and just get... More

We came here with two of our friends for dinner, and we had a great time. The noise level in the restaurant was loud, but bearable considering the style of restaurant it is. We ordered the Grandma's Smashed Best Meatballs Pizza and our friends ordered the Pizza Paillard. Both pizzas were delicious, but I preferred the Grandma's more. I've also... More

Me and my husband came here without a reservation on a Friday night and were seated almost straight away. Our waitress was friendly and turned out she was German born like my husband! The main courses are slightly pricey for Italian food so we went for a pizza to share. They are massive and we had to take a few... More

If you want to kick your pizza up a notch, visit Sa-za in the downtown riverwalk area. They do traditional pizzas but its their use of special herbs, seasonings and meats that make some of them the best I've every tasted.
