My monthly mens lunch group met at the Blind Mule today. I don't care about the advertizing in Mobile. Since I am allergic to onions, after 2 menu selection attempts I ended up with a 1/2 lb burger with swiss, mushrooms, and bacon. I have had the Bonefish Grill "Kobe burger" and this burger put it to shame. I am... More

My sister, mother, and I went today for lunch. It was on a Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm. The hours on the website day they open at 10:00 am. We get there and the doors are locked but we see a worker standing on the side and let us know the restaurant is in fact open. They just didn't unlock the... More

This place caught our attention by its name and the reviews were good. We tried it and loved it. The Texas burger was awesome. The waitress was very friendly and attentive, checking back with us several times and suggested the cheesecake OMG it was wonderful. Looks can be deceiving so don't be scared away. It has a good atmosphere and... More

Went here with my husband and 9 yo daughter. No kids menu, but she and I shared a meal. Friendly staff. Great food! Decor wasn't very attractive (80s video game memorabilia??? Lol) ... but the food and staff made up for the crappy decorations.

We had brunch at the Blind Mule because it was advertised in our hotel room. It was a quick walk from our hotel, just off Dauphin Street. The bar is dark and kind of dive-y in a good way (I wish we had come back at night!) plus there is an enclosed shady courtyard out back with a nice fountain,... More

I'll cut to the chase. Menu had layers of old food crusted on it. We were the second table to be seated on a recent lunch. Twenty plus minutes for a couple of wraps; server said the kitchen was backed up. One of our orders left several items off the order. Notified the server. She brought some of the stuff... More

Considering you are in the middle of downtown Mobile, this courtyard was so quiet !! Surrounded by palm trees and interesting art, the focal point is the huge fountain, creating a cool relaxing atmosphere. Watch out where you sit, as my husband got berry stains on his khaki shorts !! Food was really good. I had the red beans and... More

Small "hole in the wall" location with wonderfully fresh food. Salsa is a large or of love and prep as the ingredients are all fresh - if you're looking for soupy salsa, this is NOT it, this is chunky, fresh veggies! Hubby had red beans and rice with sausage and he really liked it (and he's a picky eater). I... More

Had dinner last Saturday with Family and it was WONDERFUL. We had shrimp and grits, seared tuna and the red beans and rice. VERY flavorful, VERY Generous and VERY VERY good! The beer was COLD. The Service was GREAT. Over all FANTASTIC visit. It's in an old building so the atmosphere is UNIQUE. There was a band playing upstairs that... More

We were in town for a surprise 50th birthday celebration and found this wonderful place for a late lunch and beer. Menu features southern classics and great beer selection. Great place to steal away for a bit. PS-->>the patio looks cool, but it was a bit too cold for us to hang out there. Enjoy the Blind Mule. Wonderful.
