One of the best restaurants in town, I love their lamb shank, hummus, etc. service is great too. Try their vegetarian dishes, outstanding.

Thanks to all the reviewers who recommended this cafe. Hubby and I enjoyed a nice lunch of falafels, lamb and beef gyro and grilled chicken breasts. Loved the spices in the falafels. Just the right amount of heat without being too hot. Menu has gone up a little in price than what's advertised online but is still pretty reasonable, especially... More

Our family loves the Sunday buffet. It's very inexpensive (they even include your drink) and gives you a wide variety of delicious food. One of the bonuses is that we often take friends who have never tried any type of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern food. With the buffet, you can check out different things and decide what you like best.... More

Once again relying on Tripadvisor reviews paid off. We arrived in Mobile about noon, hungry and looking for something a little different. Tripadvisor steered us to this little, out of the way restaurant, tucked into a strip mall behind an Appleby's. This is the sort of place that usually only the neighbors would know about. The restaurant is quiet with... More

Three of us had dinner at the Jerusalem Café. We ordered the Jerusalem Feast for two and it was amazing. It started with an appetizer plate with pita bread, hummus, falafel and grape leaves. The falafel was very tasty but dryer than what I am used to. Then there was a choice of soup and salad. They served some of... More

Food was OK, service was excellent. Over all they need to update booths. Cushions split and not very supportive. Portions was skimpy.

Have always been a little leery about eating middle eastern style of foods. I was pleasantly surprised food was great, service fast and friendly. Had a great meal, wouldn't expect this style of restaurant in Mobile, AL. The only down side I can think of is no beer or wine served, otherwise great food

On our way thru Mobile, we picked this restaurant out of the AAA book. We were not disappointed. The food was really good, courteous service, and it would have been easier to find had we just followed the map rather than let the GPS guide us!

We were so glad we walked into this modest little cafe in a strip mall. For one thing, it was Thursday between 4-7 which is their happy hour which means you save 25% on your bill! We ordered the mixed appetizer plate which included warm, soft pitas with a smoky baba ganoush, a creamy hummus, bright zingy taboulleh, and fragrant,... More

We ate here one evening while passing through Mobile. We had a lovely experience. The man who waited on us was very friendly & attentive. We really enjoyed the beautiful salads with the citrusy dressing. We had a shrimp & veggie appetizer that was wonderful. For our entrees I had a lamb shank & my husband had the lamb kabobs.... More
