On the way to the USS Alabama Battleship Park - Decided arbitrarily to eat lunch about 11:35 and there was already a short wait, so took the bar seating with full service but not quite the view. Reservations are needed for a window view which, if planning ahead, is well worth it. Everything is fresh. The oysters were shucked just... More

We went with a group of 25 and the service was exceptional! The seafood was delicious and it was just like eating in a rustic fishing camp. Stuffed shrimp, fried oysters, and cream of crab soup were exceptional. Great views of the bay. The almandine speckled trout was my favorite, some of the best fish I have had!

We exited off 10 at Battleship thinking we would go to another place that we could see from the interstate, but instead decided to try Felix's Fish Camp. Wonderful rustic décor. We asked for a window seat and got one. We tried the "Hook, Line and Sinker' oysters for an appetizer. They were okay although very inconsistent in size. My... More

We made reservations so we were seated promptly. Very friendly hostess, waiter was very friendly. Unfortunately he was more interested in socializing than service. We ordered appetizers and drinks, and it took about 10 mins to get drinks for 6 people. Appetizer arrived (crab claws and spinach dip) WONDERFUL! Large enough portion for our table. We kept waiting for our... More

My husband and I have frequently eaten at this restaurant but tonight was terrible! Out food took over an hour to get served and then it was cold. The portions are smaller while the price seems to be getting larger. I will not be going back anytime soon!

We live in Mobile and eat on the causeway at least once a week. Felix's has always been top 3 until last night. We had a anniversary dinner for my parents...it went bad. We were 1 1/2 hours with no food ,only one waiter for 30 people. When the food finally arrived it was cold and poorly prepared. Not to... More

Felixs is out on the causeway where all the good seafood places are located. If you want seafood go to the causeway as almost all of the places are good to great. Felixs and The original oyster house are two of the more established places and are a little bit more expensive. It is owned by the same family that... More

Drove by this place on way to see the USS Alabama. Stopped in for late lunch after tour. The restaurant from outside looks old and run down but that's for looks. I asked what they are known for and our waitress said their crab soup. We ordered 4 and my family all loved it. Best soup ever! The waitstaff is... More

well, we got there at 4pm and the royal guard at the desk was not sure she could seat our party of 12, with tons of empty tables in the room on the side. Then she finally said she could if we could leave in 2 hours for a big reservation. Never smiled, more as if she were doing us... More
