We visited here 4 years ago and it has grown. Someone told us to get there before 7 on a weekend as it gets busy. We did and it does! Food was good, people watching fun and the staff is excellent. We'll return once more before leaving Melaka.

A popular spot for north indian food. Prices are cheap. And competition is few. Better food at Bonani’s , by a mile!!

Don't be put down by a shabby appearance and plastic chairs, the food is really worth a try. Garlic Naan is simply excellent as well as tondoory chicken.

My girlfriend is a vegetarian and we found some excellent options. The Spinach with Your Choice was amazing. If you order a Lassi then go for the Big size.

We were three couples who wanted to sample non-hotel food, so we asked the hotel for a good restaurant. The Pak Putra Tandoori was suggested, and we were given directions, because it was a short walk from the hotel. On arrival half of the car park was taken up with tables, because inside the restaurant it was packed. The restaurant... More

I visit here for work, you would never expect this restaurant to have as good as food as it does. The seating is in the parking lot and it is usually very crowded. I suggest the butter chicken and garlic double cheese naan. My colleagues enjoy the tandori chicken. Honestly you can't go wrong.

Drove over to the restaurant to eat but ended up eating our dinner at the nearby Restoran Laksamana Hakka Zhan instead on Mar 16 (Sun). Our initial impression from a quick drive by and glancing at the restaurant indicated relatively average ambience. Be aware that there is no air condition in the restaurant and it can be a bit crowded... More

I went here on a busy Friday evening, but waiters were very attentive and smiling and everybody got served immediately. The food was very delicious - I tried butter chicken and two types of naan bread and loved all of them. Mineral water was served ice-cold in a bottle - first time in Melaka I had water served cold! Prices... More

Locals and backpackers all know about this place so this review is aimed at those, who like me, usually seek out the more elegant restaurants. Leave your finery back in your hotel, don a pair of flip flops and make your way here, a few meters up the road from the Casa Del Rio. You will sit by the roadside... More

This is a very popular North Indian / Pakistani restaurant. It is run by a Pakistani expat and his extended family, and the food is quite authentic. The tandoori chicken is moist and flavourful, the naans are excellent and fluffy, and the other dishes are good as well. Service is efficient and quick. The restaurant itself is in two adjoining...
