I visited with my family and the restaurant is very clean and comfortable. The menu is good and in English. We ordered a variety of dishes that all arrived together and tasted superb. I recommend the eggplant stewed with basil in a clay pot. Athough this place is obviously very popular with tourists, the food is not compromised. Very good... More

Best dishes were the mutton soup, pepper pig stomach soup, steamed pork balls, salt steamed chicken How nice were these dishes? Well, on a scale of 1 to 10 - I skipped rice for every of the 3 meals I ate at the restaurant (just to make space for the dishes I want to eat) :-) and at any other... More

We chanced upon is place one evening during my last visit in Dec 14 when we were disappointed that Nancy Nonya at Jonker was not opened for dinner. The food was authentic (attested by my Hakka bro in law). I highly recommend the braised pork with salted vegetables which was not over salty. You may eat it with steamed bun... More

The famous lamb soup here is delicious. I also liked the vinegar pig's trotters. The aubergine and ladies finger were like home cooked. Their YTF had pork in it too. Pricing - affordable.

we had the rm268 set menu although we didn't know how many pax the menu was meant for. I had a table of 6 adults. The food was excellent! Just like the way mum / grandma would do it. Boss and his Hakka wife was also very generous - whether u needed more gravy, or to heat up the soup... More

Excellent home cooked Hakka food run by a Hakka family with very good authentic Hakka dishes like Pig trotters vinegar, chicken with rice wine, mutton soup, pig's stomach with pepper, brinjal with basil, yong tau foo, pork with fermented tofu & fungus ears, sweet potato veggies, etc. Very good & tasty and reasonably priced.

10/15 mins walk from Jonker St. Not far from Casa Del Rio Hotel. @ Jalan Laksamana. Like most Malaysian family restaurant….family run business. Food is good! Service is good and friendly. We can’t order much because there are only two of us. Will be great to eat in a group. So, you can order more dishes. Good experience! Can try!... More

Someone recommended this place in Melaka. Menu look promising so ordered a few dishes. Taste was ok but service was very very slow. Furthermore they mixed up the dishes we ordered. The most disgusting of all, when we were serve a clay pot dish, the metal scoop due to heat transferred from the pot, we saw a few cockroaches crawling... More

The restaurant is at a end corner of a shop lot. Reasonably priced but for us, the food is very average for its taste. Not too salty and oily. It is cooked hakka food family style. Need to wait for the food to be served.
