Almost like grandma's cooking

Of course everyone's grandma food is the best. I think Amy comes close. They also have food that we seldom get like Nasi kemuli. Make reservations to avoid disappointment.

Highly recommended by a friend who is a local baba. Tried the following dishes. Asam Prawn - somewhat disappointed. The Asam paste is not authentic Itek Tim soup - this is tasty although the serving temperature is a bit low. Teluk dadar cincaluk - this is the best Kangkung kobis keledek - very good and authentic. Overall I have good... More

We heard about Amy's from a few people, and we thought why not try to make reservations. We had the good fortune of getting a table one day in advance, as it was only the 2 of us. The restaurant employs a reservation system which gives customers the assurance that they don't have to wait for a table if they... More

This restaurant serves freshly prepared food. It is not up to my taste buds but thats very subjective. Contrary to the remarks made, our visit was pleasure. Amy explained why the restaurant can't take in anymore customers despite the reserved tables are for customers who are coming an hour later. If you want to eat at this restaurant, just book... More

Their food is superb. The best nyonya food among the few I have tried. Highly recommended. Please ensure you make a reservation.

Foodie friends of mine in Singapore and Malacca highly recommended this restaurant to me. Being a huge fan of Peranakan food I was in all anticipation. Phone reservation for a table was made a week earlier for I was told the place is always fully booked. For the three of us, I ordered the Kueh Pie Ti, Ayam Buah Keluak,... More

1st visit. We are really excited when we managed to secure a table for dinner on sunday night (phone booking a day earlier). Food is only average ! There are other good peranakan restaurants with friendlier service than this much hyped place. The greatest dissapointment are chendol (ice is coarse and can't really taste the fresh coconut milk) and titik... More

Best nyonya food that I've tasted so far in Melaka! Please make a reservation before you go. Everytime I eat there, I always see people get turned away. We went there on Sunday lunchtime hoping to make a reservation for Sunday dinner, but it was already fully booked. They were closed on Monday, so the soonest we could eat there... More

This place was recommended by a friend who lives in Melaka. We were advised to make reservations and it was a good thing that we did for it was fully booked. When we tasted the food, we understood why. To me, the food was excellent! The pie tee was the best i've ever had. It looked normal but it tasted... More

She seems to be keen to have patron that is local and elderly and main priority is to share her business stories that she forgets other patron around.... More
